There are many other options. Pluto tv, xumo tv, the list goes on and on.
Google free television streaming sites and you'll find a lot.
I prefer xumo TV for Grandma's game shows, because you can set the quality so it won't suck up a lot of bandwidth per hour.

I just came on here to say my macbook is still working even though its now over 12 years old. The OS is Big Sur.
My ipad is still working (barely) and it was like Ipad 4.
My smartphone is iphone XS. It updates itself.
I don't know why I have 3 Apple products while I'm not averse to android, it just happens that way. They are easy to network and pair up though, it's not always smooth sailing cos newer versions are not always compatible with older.
This is prob basic and boring to the tech bros out there. But I like to keep things simple.
The next thing on horizon is to figure out Apple Car Play if I get this new car stereo system thing installed.

i have an apple i mac. computers are highly beneficial to society, especially when human assistance is needed whether it's medical, news, emergency's, learning & such. no doubt, abuse is a free truth. i definitely don't like the computer system but you have to have it. it takes away much human interaction, accountability & responsibility.

I once did a whole paper on it called Human Computer Interaction and we had to evaluate whether certain websites were user friendly, or what made it easy to use.
Google def came out tops (at the time) because of its simple interface. And apple macs for their GUI - graphical user interface. I do remember when macs had a special font unique to them. Startup was much simpler than Microsoft too. On Microsoft, you had to press start to shut down. It wasn't intuitive.

Oh I also bought a new case for my phone as the old bumper I actually had to cut a hole in it so I could fit the charging cable to it.

My first computer had windows 95 on it but I think I got it in 96.
The one I'm using now is a Dell PC that has windows 11, a solid state drive and a regular hard drive and the processor can overclock to 4.1ghz. It keeps getting errors on the SSD drive every few days and I have no idea why. I just have to restart it to fix the errors but it's a pain. I just use it for internet and for my RC helicopter simulator but I hardly ever play it. I've given up on trying to learn 3D helicopter flying. It's too hard and expensive in real life. Keep needing to replace broken parts.
I'm using an old iphone that they stopped making years ago. And I heard the new one that folds is going to be $2000, but maybe there's a $4000 version.

Still incredibly expensive. I wouldn't pay that much for a phone, even a super-intelligent one.
The base model will only cost $2000. It's the Super Deluxe Pro model that will cost almost $4000.
Meanwhile my daily driver HMD Vibe cost $89 and my Tank with a battery eight times the size of a normal phone and a light on the back that can light up a whole field cost $275. And they will still be useful for what I wanted them for long after people who buy that folding iphone have moved on to The Next Big Thing.

Though I did get four quite serviceable used phones, all made after 2020, for less than a hundred bucks on ebay. Gave one to a lady at work when her phone battery blew up, stuck one beside the sticker machine at work to print stickers, stuck one in the church sound booth to record sermons... No idea what I'll do with the last one. Maybe hang it on a wall to use as a security camera.
I don't hang on to my old phones, take them to recycling or the mobile shop for them to have for parts or tinker with.
So far the one I have is fine and I can even play games on it, which I couldn't really do with my old one. And I now know the reason why iphones are this awkward rectangle shape...its so you can play handheld games from Apple Arcade. Duh!

I used to have a flip phone.
Now they are making flip smartphones, but they aren't the same.
Mine was kind of like this but dark blue capsule and silver inside, with a rainbow light flashing when it was on, and had a clock face when it was closed
Anyway its now died and gone to flip phone heaven. I miss you flip phone.
Oh, but you are mistaken. They are still on the shelves and I know those who still endure the painstaking process to get a simple text out.
I haven't seen any in all the shop that sell mobiles around me. People still use them no doubt but I think since we moved to 4G or was it 5G? The ones that were 3G or below can't work anymore.
