Misunderstood
Please don't judge me for how a look
Take a look inside the book
There are some things that all of us do
So I'm really not that different than you
I still struggle, i still need
Cut me open, I still bleed
I go through things just like you
I have dreams and visions too
I often feel misunderstood
But i love people and my heart is good
Judge me on the things i do
Not the way I look to you
Maybe I could be your freind
If all this prejudice could end
You might not always understand
Just accept me for who i am

people think I'm strong, because of everything I've been through. I can't take credit. Without God's strength, I would've died a long time ago.
people think I'm sociable because I initiate & am friendly. I'm really not that sociable- it takes a lot for me to reach out.

Clee, what you said reminds me of a song from a Twila Paris concert I went to way back when ....The Warrior Is A Child.
Sometimes people think I'm not paying attention to what they're saying because I fool them (Lord leading)and suddenly ask them a thought-provoking question based on what they just said.

People think I'm wicked and insane because I have disabilites that give me hallucinations, death defying thoughts, and mood swings that normal people do not have. They think I'm wicked because I'm dark and gothic and think that I'm some evil person, even though I just have a different lifestyle then majority of others.
Sometime people think I use unnecessarily long and complicated words....... but if they understood the ontological foundation regarding the process in which I precipitate which words to use in order to attain justification for the aforementioned verbalization, they would then cease and desist from promulgating the atypical and unwarranted denouncement and would initiate and engage themselves in propagating equivalent and analogous phraseology.
