What would weddings be like if the grooms did the planning rather than the bride? :D

They would be shorter and generally less expensive. There would probably be multiplayer videogames during the reception.

Believe it or not, most traditional wedding ceremonies only take 20-30 mins anyway.
Regardless of how long they are, they go by extraordinary fast! My wedding was a bit of a blur.

Secondly, marriage is for men not little boys who can shave whose greatest desire is to be a Guild leader in world of warcraft or get the top score in Halo.

Id call a woman a fool who would marry a man playing videogames and think its sexy. Cos its not.. lol

Catered by Subway, Pizza Hut or KFC.

Favorite sports team colors for the wedding party's outfits.

NO TUXES!!!

Free beer!

All-you-can-eat buffalo wings.

Oh yeah, the tuxes would be HISTORY, I'm sure. LOL.

I'm going to go out on a limb here (showing that I'm still hopeful) and say that if the guy was really in love with this girl he'd be marrying, he'd be concerned about what would make her happy... so the wedding might not be too different, if a bit simpler....

LOL. Okay, maybe it'd be a LOT simpler....

I used to be on the audio / visual team at my old church so there would be times when I would be asked to come in and run the computers & soundboard for weddings. The oddest wedding I had ever worked was based on the Final Fantasy video games. All of the wedding music was from the FF soundtrack. All of the guys were dressed like Jedi's from Star Wars while the girls were dressed for a renaissance festival. They actually brought a costume for me to wear but I opted to stay in the sound booth where I nearly busted a gut laughing so hard as the event unfolded. Thankfully, I made it through the ceremony without a major mistake (that I know off) because the wedding was so strange.

Personally, I want a wedding outdoors next to a water fall however, I would probably go with whatever my future wife was most happy with.

Ouch LOL!!! I recently just phased out of the whole video game thing. So I guess I am now ready for marriage and able to give my future wife my whole undivided attention now huh!!! (Gives cheesy Big Smile)

I actually like tuxes. but I gotta admit a Dallas Cowboy themed wedding sounds intriguing. :D I wouldn't do the pizza hut/ subway thing but I sure wouldn't do the $30 fish or chicken a plate thing either.

Jajajaja!!!!!

The groomsmen would be dressed team jersys and the girls dresses would be in team colors nd the reception would be a tailgate party.

If it were up to me to plan something like that, it would be simple, but effective. If the conditions are right, it would be in summer, at a clear night, under the full of the moon and stars. Also right beside a lake. If there is no wind, torches would be used for light. If not, then a bunch of white christmas lights would do, depending on the placement. Of course, a handful of people and chairs. :p Naturally, the bride, the groom and the the ordained wedding officiant.

Something along those lines, anyway.

I think if men planned weddings they would be more Like the Coronation scene from the Return of the King and less like the inside of a stuffy church.

Blech to stuffy churches.

My best friend and her husband had a simple, classy, video game themed wedding. It was SO much fun!!! I can see that being a guy's preference for a wedding but just remember, there are women out there who like the same stuff. :)
