If you have ever watched Sybil or other shows with people who have multiple personalities
you will see that they had been abused and such. It is also called oppression.
Jesus came to set the captive free, to heal the brokenhearted, to relieve the oppressed.
He gives us love, power and a sound mind
But the decision is ours. do we want to put him first?
Seek his face? Obey his word?
Seek him while he may be found?
Have we fully submitted to the Lord?
Are we one foot in the world and the other in him?
We cant serve two masters
Whom the Lord sets free is free indeed!
Do we have unforgiveness, bitterness, ect
The works of the flesh or the fruit of the Spirit

Elizabeth -- I don't know your heart. I pray you accept Jesus as your lord and savior. I just think if you were dignosed before accepting Jesus then maybe you haven't realized that you are set free.

Jesus came to set the captive free, to heal the brokenhearted, to relieve the oppressed.

First off I have never been diagnoses with bi polar disorder. YOU are the one that made the hateful comment that I was "more like my father".

If you had also read my post about things that have affected me you would clearly see that it was due to environment, and that I even statewhile watching my sister pass away that I knew God was there. Part what I have dealt with is the grieving process. The other part was trauma in early childhood that I AM dealing with.
God does not give us more than we can handle. We are to not be anxious, and yet sometimes I do end up that way.
Like I said, you have no idea what I deal with on a daily basis or what I have been through. I have accepted Jesus. I am A Christian, and I know he is with me everyday, but that does not mean I do not mourn, and I do not feel sadness. Thankfully, when I get to Heaven there will be no sorrow.

As for you. I think it is best you go by scripture, and not look up demon possession on occult websites. While you posted one link quoting scripture I did search and find that some of your info is from sites dealing with the occult.
Stick with the bible.

All i have seen you point out, is people with mental illnesses are demon posessed, and you question the people that admitted to being bipolar if their saved, you then insinuate that our salvation is not real!
How in the world could you possibly know what has gone on in our lives, or our testimony? Who are you to cast judgment? Did you pull me through the depths and heights of my depression, did i call out your name when i was raped, was it you that i sang to and worshipped with childlike abandon? No it was Jesus Christ, Him and Him alone
So stop passing your judgement on people you know absolutely nothing about

I believe that SATAN is so free in this nation because so called christians have not had the BOLDNESS in calling the works of satan what it is. They too afraid to offend people. ALL SICKNESS, all DISEASE, all DEPRESSION, all FEAR and such are SATANIC work of SATAN. But so many are fearful that they will offend onother by telling them it is the devil. So, they tell them to go and be put on medication, all their lives to suppress thgis work. They actually put the opressed person more in bondage than before. THE CHURCH IS LACKING POWER BECAUSE THEIR AFRAID OF THE DEVIL. Oh such faithless generation this is. JESUS REBUKED A FEVER. Oh, that person did not have a devil, she needs medication, these christians would say today.

I will agree that illness is of satan, but at the same time is there anywhere in the bible where a person who was ill, possessed, blind, deaf, lame, etc was held accountable for this? As in doomed to Hell because of it?

I just pointed out you thought I was lying to you without looking up the person profile therefor the apple may have not fallen far from the tree. I also told you that question may get harder as we go along. I told you thanks for talking and I knew it was going to be hard.

1 .changes in normal routines : sleeping all day suddenly or complete lack of appetite, or sudden onset of gluttony
maybe someone wasn't eating are thought they were eating to much, but either way harming themselves.
2. sudden changes to vocabulary such as becoming abnormally profane or abusive

Hold on, wait, so, we should deny someone medication for an illness . . say . . malaria . . and simply put our hands on them??

They will die.

No we should help them with medicine, but then find out if they accept Jesus as lord and savior and if they don't say you may be under spiritual attack

Where does Jesus say to use our own common sense? He tells us to believe HIS WORD. Apostle Paul bitten by a venomous snake and shook it off. Never used medicine, just believed God. Other nonbelievers waited for him to die. But didn't happen. He trusted in the WORK OF JESUS ON CROSS.
