what is with some people that come in here
and this is just a chat room , but because they are titled a preacher they can preach and judge people like its their own church ??

i dont think preachers like 1 want to serve should be allowed to
come in here and do this , this is just a chat , not a pulpit or a building !

most that come in here do not preach
and have respect for one another
its the very few that make the room very unpleasant

and how in the world can anyone come into a chat room and have someone preaching down your throat like your a no good back slider

and doomed for hell , and share the love of Jesus ??

that is Not the love of Christ

i will leave this for the record
i have been in here 2 times to try and be a part of Christians
due to i am living in a remote area
but Still there is this
gut wrenching feeling that is not comfortable
or happy
and i will follow that knowing its Not from the Holy Spirit
Jesus does not give a spirit of confusion or fear
but power love and sound mind

when we can love as Jesus does and be the body of Christ
we then can reach the world one person at a time
and not by someone shoving it down their throats !

For those who treated me with respect
and undestood what i have been through
like sky blu , and banana , molly and ruth and doggy

for those who put me down , judged me and put me in your own box to pick on me each time i came in
I pray to God Jesus opens your heart and lets you see what kind of damage you are doing to the kingdom of heaven

many want to throw the rocks but
they don't like it when the rocks get thrown at them !

i dont need to sit on a chat room all day , when i can open the Word and talk to God , and have peace and joy
so i guess it will be just me and the Lord
iknow He is my friend and never will forsake me

there needs to be more discernment of the Holy Spirit
in whats going on in the chat rooms
the lounge is bad enough and now the bible room is not far behind
it

Its just part of being involved in an open discussion of the bible. The Bible Forums are full of the same thing. I saw someone in the forums tell a 15 year girl she wasn't a Christian because she wanted to know if getting a tattoo was wrong. Just the fact that she asked, in his mind, proved she wasn't saved. Pharisee's have a right to be on the site, unfortunately.

Those who stand against the pop culture, worldly church will be called a pharasee..

Except your righteousness!

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceedthe righteousnessof the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This verse is a very haunting verse so misused and twisted in the church system today! Many are under the false teaching that puts Jesus in their place, which means a magical cloak where they are now covered by Him, free from the wrath to come, and that Jesus righteousness is what they rely on, since they were taught they were born a sinner, unable to do anything right before God, especially repent and STOP SINNING!
But is this true? Did Jesus really mean His righteousness is now imputed onto you? His righteousness in now your righteousness since He somehow transferred His perfect track record to you by making you invisible to God as you still remain defiled and in bondage to this false teaching?
Can a person transfer their virtue onto another person? Or are we actually responsible to God to do right, as commanded.
This verse is referring to the Pharisees and scribes who were squeaky clean on the outside, but on the inside full of dead men’s bones, vile to the core, hating Jesus and His truth, by rejecting it, and calling Him a demon.
These hypocrites had an outward righteousness, but inwardly were vile, double minded, full of self and loved the lie, as most who profess Christ do.
I was called self-righteous by an ex friend of mine as he told me, Since I preached we can obey God from the heart, that can only come from the repentance process where the heart is made pure from within, and crucified (put to death) once and for all with Christ. Thus the sin stops, the heart is purified by faith, and obedience to the truth is not an option!
I was told walking in newness of life was legalism, and being self-righteous, and obeying Jesus and His commands from the heart, walking in the light, keeping my heart pure and undefiled from the world and all its vain attractions was being just like the scribes and Pharisees.
While he was still in bondage to lust, worldliness, and his popular church which preached you can fall into many vile sins as a Christian, but as long as you confessed these so called failures to God, you were OK!
Now I ask you who still have an ear to hear, who is the still defiled one?
He who has crucified their flesh once and for all in repentance, cleansed from the inside out, walking in newness of life, or my ex friend who was and is still in bondage to his flesh and the false system of lies, where you can fall occasionally or daily into immorality, drunkenness, fornication, adultery, etc., and just confess then you are again right with GOD!
Pro 1:31 And they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own desires.

PS, Matthew 5-20 is clearly talking about heart purity, not outward good deeds most church people do, but have never crucified their flesh with Christ, Galatians 2-20, and are clean on the outside, yet still defiled and dirty on the inside, its simple, repent, stops sinning as commanded, or make excuses why you can remain unrighteous since Jesus gave you His in some mysterious transfer!

You say the question is irrelevant if she ''crucified your flesh with Christ through repentance and are walking in the spirit''. So if she is asking this question, you're saying she hasn't done these things, and thereby is not saved.

Oh. and 'weather' is things like rain, snow, cold temperatures, etc... Maybe want to learn the difference between spellings if you're going to use words.

Also, its a 'pharisee'. I'm surprised you don't know how to spell that one already.

The bible study room is my favorite room, especially when you have 3 or 4 ministers and others talking about one subject, there are people from all over the world here, not everyone agrees the same, but the one
thing is Jesus Christ and him crucified. Im sure everyone has been offended a time or two, but forgive,
forget and move on and enjoy the fellowship and be a blessing to others

Here's the deal, for every faction who want perceived bad behaviors addressed, there is another faction who views addressing of said bad behaviors as a form of power hungryness or control from the mods. If said things are addressed, then another faction will make statements such as, "I feel like I'm walking on egg shells. I don't know what I can say. The mods might address me."

In other words, EVERYONE has an opinion on how things should be done. And these opinions are different of course.

Listen folks, do your best to walk in love.
Do your best to make sure you're not taking offense over something petty.
I'm not saying anyone in this post, or who is reading this hasn't walked in love, or has taken offense over petty things.
I am saying that walking in love, and not taking offense over petty things, will make all of our chat lives easier and better.

Being a minister or preacher does not indicate you know what you're talking about. I've been a minister/pastor/preacher for over 20 years and hold a doctorate. SO WHAT? I've been in those rooms when this is going on. They argue the Word as if God has given each of them some special enlightenment that the others have not received. They seldom agree on much when expounding from the same Bible. When they have to show what they think they know, instead of showing forth the love of Jesus, they are just sounding brass and irritating crashing cymbals.

thewolfdetector was not hurt by doctrines, but the way in which they were presented. Jesus had more knowledge and wisdom than all of mankind but He only spoke forth the Word in LOVE, truly caring for the listener. When I go back to the Bible Study room and hear the truth of I Corinthians 13 being expounded in tenderness and love, I will know they have turned from themselves and started truly ministering. God bless them and you wolf!

Start talking religion and you start talking opinion, and what's that old saying about opinions generating as-----s - I mean, everyone having one? It's kinda the heat in the kitchen, and the nice thing about forums is if someone's being piddly you just move on to the next one (Hey! Come back here!). To be honest, I think the whip-crackers are for the most part right and Lord knows we need some whip-crackers in society. But there are a few who could lighten up. It's not the message, it's the snear they deliver it with.

Now, OP, why do these things hit you so personally? Perhaps you've been under the whip too long already? Is there some healing the sensible among us can bring you?

The truth is people feel strongly about what they believe.
So a Bible Study Forum is going to elicit the strongest feelings from people who
profess to believe in it.
I see no way to completely cut out debate.
Just state your case and move on.
If you disagree with someone, show them in the Bible where you think they might be wrong.
Then move on.
Do you really think getting the last word means anything?
Not to God.
Not to anybody.

Just state your case and move on.
If someone has offended you, you can do one of three things:
1). You can point out to them how they offended you, (using scripture hopefully).
(But just wait for them to defend themselves, which leads to argumentation.)
Or: 2). You can report them.
Or: 3). You can forgive them.

I say option #3 is the easiest to do.

Tonight I saw a Catholic man who loved God very much almost get chased out by "Christians" of other doctrine. This man was obviously attacked and offended in a place where he thought he could feel safe. I have only been here a short while but I have seen this sort of thing rather consistently. This kind of behavior makes me want to puke. Please stop doing this and show some love. You can't see the light when you have your head where the sun don't shine.

Ever look at the word blame? B_ LAME I did this natural brothers and sisters!! LOL I was really good at it to! One day I found out why I did such things. Because it was far easier to look at others faults rather then my own faults. I fully understand what the wolf is saying here.I also understand, that many can make others angry!!

Each one of our names could enter in here just as easy!! There have been days I have come in here,wanting to scrap! LOL Looking for just one word I could bounce on! And as you all know,there is much chance of that happeneing in here as well! LOL But then, so gentle, does Holy Spirit speak to me.Mark you are not in here to point,but rather gives words that would encourage,to bring life from death,to establish all here in Me!( me being the Lord of course!)

We sometimes hear words we want to hear,we are somtimes right, and sometimes wrong.But the point to that is this. What can you say, to help? How can you, yes YOU!!! bring peace to the room? Sometimes you cannot,and then I just mark 4:24 em. But when you are there, and have been in the room for a while,all know where you stand,they know this by what we say everytime we enter.

And when they may not care for you in the flesh,they do see Jesus in you,and have to respect him.I hope this has brought all peace,I look forward to seeing all in the Bilbe Study room,it is not always pleasent,but one can learn much about themselves and what they truly believe and understand from the words they, themselves use.And from this all may be blessed that God has used each one of us for his purpose!( rom 8:28) Blessing to you all!

This is my take on this and i feel that if Your a Pastor Or a preacher etc
It would be far better if you did this live on cam so we can See Your face .
Because for me a Pastor Or a preaher does this in church face to face live.
I have Nothing against preachers Or pastors but i Do feel a whole lot more comftorable seeing
A preachers face when they preach Theres a preacher in here Whos avatar Shows a picture of a vulture now for me that Does not afend me but its not the sought of message i feel a preacher shoud be Sending out
I feel that pastors and preachers are gifted and i feel it is there duty to make people Trust in Jesus and for me we also need to be able to Trust the preacher which is verry diffacult in here if Your not preaching how a normal preacher preaches in church showing there face live and so i unterstand that the Internet is not the same as church but i feel that is the Job and oath of a preacher to be strong now i know that what you say is held acountable to the Lord more so than others but i feel that preaching to people you can not See and people WHO can not See you may be not a good Start
For the simple reason preachers and pastors are like doctors in the Sense you would not feel to comftorable with a doctor WHO jst wants to speak to you over the phone all the T
And you would feel to comftorable over the phone a doctor saying i cast the badness out of you without seeing you first.
There are many members here WHO are not preachers and they Show there face all the Time. I have on cam many of Time to make people feel comftorable so this is where i get löst because i feel that preachers should Do this more so
