Hey I'm new as well. This site actually has people who READ the bible. I am amazed there are people willing to do what God says and not what the church says.

As for a question I haven't anything I want to ask at the moment.

So I welcome you here, be polite and have fun.

That is a good question! And I am not entirely sure, to be honest.

Welcome to CC - We're happy you joined us.

Thanks! I'm looking to meet more Christians online, so I thought I'd check this place out and jump in.

Hello newbie toastface_grillah!

So, what is the inspiration for your username?

Excellent question! It's a bit of wordplay based on the name of a popular rapper (I won't give away the name, but I will say that it rhymes with my SN).

Ah, I was going to ask about your screen name, but Jimmy beat me to it. How about this question, then. If you could be any font, which one would you choose? I think I'd be Old English, but perhaps something more fun like WingDings.

Hmm... I'd either be Impact or Times New Roman. Every time I sit down to write, I always reach for the TNR, no matter how many times my laptop tries to push Callibri on me. Yech.

Aha! First, a bit of backstory. Every Halloween, it's my personal mission and point of pride (the 'ha, that was awesome' kind, not the 'puffed up' kind) to make a costume that costs as little as possible. This past Halloween, I bought a Guy Fawkes mask (as made famous here) for eight bucks and put on dress clothes. My theme was "anti-bureaucrat extraordinaire." Unfortunately, I only got to wear the mask for a few minutes, and we didn't have a real Halloween, thanks to Hurricane Sandy; so the mask will reappear next year.
Back in '11, I spent $4-something altogether, on aluminum foil and twine, and went as Steve Jobs.

Ha! awesome!! Alright my imagination isn't working - aluminum foil and twine, and went as Steve Jobs.... How does that look? I do the same as well. One year, with the help of my mother, I made a perfectly good outfit out of a table cloth. My favorite though was a black kitteh. $2 cat ears, all black outfit and gloves, and painted my face and hands!

It came out kind of awesomely. I'd shaven my head earlier (bald = low maintenance = win), already had a black sweater, and my glasses were close enough. I didn't have any jeans, but I figured that people wouldn't pay much attention to my pants. I cut some cardboard into an Apple logo, covered it in foil and hung it round my neck with the twine, Flava Flav-style. The only catch was that I couldn't take the sweater off, and after awhile, I was sweating bullets!

Nice kitteh costume! What'd you make out of a table cloth?

Buttttt hopefully you were actually wearing pants. I actually turned the table clothe into a nice Athena outfit. I used other pieces of material with it as well. And then I made some sort of hair accessory out of a laced scarf.
