I'm going for a church valentine's event a week after valentines day. =) I'm not sure how it is going to be...kind of excited =)

uh depends on what day of the week it is...working, hanging out with friends, or kicking back at the watering hole are all possibilities.

i'll be walking on the bridge while watching the city lights (all by myself.. lol) with the new moon above me..

Yep! Pretty much. I was thinking...any day now... lol
I don't have plans, unless I bump into 'the guy' before then XD. So I'll be doing homework, reading, and probably on here with or without chocolates and sparkling apple juice. OOOO and maybe watch Bridget Jones Diary, great movie for singles this time of the year.

I don't like to waste such a day on singleness. I like to celebrate with my momma and friends! Candy, hearts, bears, cards - the works! :D

WHAT?!?! Single people making plans for Valentine's Day? Are you sure that isn't illegal? I always just plan on still being single for Valentine's.........*tear*

I'll probably spend the day with my family and work on editing my novel. :)

I plan on soliciting for Valentines...

P.S. anyone who is willing to be my valentine gets a free box of chocolates

I think my wifi might actually be up and running Thursday...in which case I need to catch up on STUDYING. Realistically, I might get suckered into going to play trivia. Or I might lay on my couch and defrag my brain by catching up on some shows on hulu.

I work that day, then later in the evening I have a Bible study that I go to. It will probably be just like any other day. :)

I'm typically a realistic person (though secretly a hopeless romantic, I dunno :o ) but I think it'd be more romantic/meaningful to get flowers from a boyfriend on a random day/just because and not on a specified day because that's what he's "supposed" to do.

I just found out that the true origin of Valentines day is actually pagan. Valentines day originated from a sexual perverse festival where sexual immorality is practiced.

Really? Do you have a source for that?

"St. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus. The most popular martyrology associated with Saint Valentine was that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire; during his imprisonment, he is said to have healed the daughter of his jailer Asterius. Legend states that before his execution he wrote "from your Valentine" as a farewell to her."

Hey, I would want flowers on valentines day because it is something that he is suppose to do lol. *Predicts a future argument with a husband/boyfriend regarding this*
