My mind is natural ,spiritual enough, to accept what is written .Trinity is just another word . God does hold these offices .One of The only begotten Son. The Father, and the Holy Spirit. That is not a hard concept when taking in the whole of scriptures However they rendered the Bible. The manuscripts are too many to not have a true report. They all agree on all major points. And so, its easy to document ;That God holds these different offices; for lack of a better term.
This is easy to document from the Bible with many scriptures :
What do you think these scriptures mean to you ? These scriptures are said in plain language .
Colossians 2: ( Just something to consider )
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Philippians 2:6-8
King James Version
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
If you find it strange that God would do this for us, Then read the living Word's own teachings :
Matthew 20 :
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
2 Corinthians 8:9
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
If those scripture are to vague for you ; then just continue reading :
John 1:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
So what was just stated about the Word ? The Word was with God in the beginning ,and the Word was God.
and what happened next ? He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.
Seems pretty simple ./
Those scripture alone is enough for me .
But there are more scriptures :
Matthew 1:23
King James Version (KJV)
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
God with us ? well, its plainly stated .
More ?
John 14:
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
We can go a little farther with it into more scriptures :
Genesis 1: ( This is the Word ,that was with God in the beginning written in John 1:1-2 )
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
God includes Himself in that statement, the Our. There would be people in the image of the angles ;to look just like them.
& there would be some one in the image of God; John 1: In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Hebrews 1:
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
worlds -( all the times; in Hebrew)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
Christ was the express image of God, by whom he made the worlds ?
Hebrews 2 :
14 Forasmuch -( in view of the fact )then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
(So we see; He also Himself likewise too part of the same, as He asked His children to do.)
Hebrews 1:6
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Did not Christ say, worship God? You know why the angels worship him in light of the scripture posted: He is the only one to be worshiped.
Now just a few comparisons with the Old TESTAMENT & THE NEW:
Speaking of God:::
Genesis 2:3
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Speaking of Christ:::
Matthew 12:8
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
Of God:
Exodus 3:14
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
Of Christ:
John 8:58-59
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Of God:::
Isaiah 43:11
11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
Of Christ:::
Acts 4:10
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
( & There are many many many scriptures we can compare to add multiple witnesses more to these facts. )( Some more scriptures to consider:
Isaiah 9:6-7
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Of God:::
Isaiah 44:6
6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Of Christ:::
Revelation 1:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
To conclude :
Colossians 2:
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
There are much more scriptures I did not have room to write.
There should be no doubt, God came to this earth as The redeemer to the World.
