How can you all be so blinded by your own pride and wanting to be right? Noone can except the truth of the love of Christ. I just gave you verse after verse about the Rapture, Christ's love, the Tribulation, and judgement and you still stick to the doctrines of demons. I believe now more than ever that the Great Apostasy is going on even as I type this. Noone can take literally the Word of God and believe that the followers of Christ will not follow Him in vain. What would be the point in being punished BY God along with those who did not follow the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Please come back to the love that so wants you to accept it. In fact, in the NT there was a Church that thought these things. They were worried that they had missed the Rapture and the Second Coming. Paul comforted them and told them that not until the Antichrist, or the man of sin so that I don't get bombarded with hateful remarks, will that time be. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Lord gave us signs to look for, in the heavens and here on earth. Those signs were to be taken literally. We are in the season of our Lords return and you and those like you will not see it for what it is. The world is getting worse and worse around you, just as prophecied. Israel is back in it's homeland, just as prophecied. The world is focused on Israel, just as prophecied. The world is moving toward a global community and currency, just as prophecied. Israel's neighbors seek to destroy her, just as prophecied. And, alliances are being made with her enemies, JUST AS PROPHECIED. Please do not make the mistake that so many have made over the centuries. Look up, for our redemption draws near.

Matthew 24:29-31

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

No, you have to realize that the Rapture and the Second Coming are two different events. In the Second Coming, Jesus sets foot on ground with His saints following Him (Zachariah 14:1-4). In the Rapture, WE go to Him and He never actually comes down (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). That is false about 2 Thess 2. The 'man of sin' will not be revealed until the falling away happens. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-10) Therefore, the he will not be revealed until 'He who restrains is removed' (the Holy Spirit). Since the Holy Spirit is imparted upon each and every believer upon his/her conversion, it is reasonable to say that if the Holy Spirit is no longer here, then Christians are no longer here. Additionally, in Matthew 24, only a few things have come to pass, including the destruction of the Second Temple, Herod's Temple by Rome in 70 AD(Matthew 24: 1-3), and the rebirth of Israel in 1948 (parable of the fig tree)(Matthew 24:32). In reference to the Blessed Hope, promised by the Apostle Paul, who also wrote the letters to the Churches in Corinthians and Thessalonians, is in reference to the Rapture and Glorious Appearing. (Titus 2:11-13) How would it be a blessed hope if we are punished twice for the same sins? In fact, why would Christ have had to die at all if we were in fact going to be punished anyway? The simple answer is He wouldn't have. We will be saved from the trials that will be poured out on unbelievers (Romans 1:18,32, Romans 2:12 & 2 Thess. 1:6-10). We will be saved from the Wrath of God and from the evil of the Antichrist, who has not yet come (1 Thessalonians 5:9). We WILL be present at the Bema (Judgement) seat of Christ and judged, not as sinners but for what we have done for Christ (Matthew 16:27, 1 Corinthians 4:5, Luke 14:12-14). Then will come the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev 19:9) I read and study and live what I research. I have read the entire Bible from cover to cover, except for the last few books of the Old Testament, which I am currently working on. I have heard sermons, arguments, and lectures on all sides of the end time arguments. I have searched for God's Will. The Spirit has led me to preach out against the apostasy currently running rampant in the Churches regarding the end times. We are closer than ever before to witnessing these events. Jesus Himself said that a generation would not pass who sees Israel become a nation again until He returns. We are in the season of our Lords return. Look up and see our redemption draw near. The Lord would not have put something in the Bible that would not aid the Church. The amillenialist and the Posttribulationist along with everything in between are 'doctrines of demons' (1 Timothy 4:1-Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils). Now, make sure YOU read the verse closely.

Ok then. You pretty much got er down:p

Are you really content calling orthodox eschatological views doctrines of demons?
I still see you didnt carefully read 2 thess 2. Because if you did and put aside that
paperback theology you would see Paul told the no it hadnt happened.

How did he tell them it hadnt happened? Read he said he had already told them
that it would happen UNTIL after the falling away and the man of sin was revealed....etc

The ten horns and the ten toes both represent the ten lost tribes that went on to settle northwestern Europe, what used to be called free Europe. "British" is a Hebrew word that means "covenant people" The 3 horns that are plucked up will probably be the UK-Britain, Scotland, and Ireland, Queen Elizabeth is sitting on the throne of David which the Messiah will inherit.

Yer kidding...RIGHT????

I don't understand what you are saying? I am agreeing with 'orthodox eschatology', not disagreeing. I believe the Rapture will happen in the near future. That is and has always been the traditional view.

And, I am sorry that you can not find joy in reading a fictionalized version of a Biblical event. It is enjoyable to sit down and read a book, is it not? What Tim Lahaye did with his series is take Biblically sound teachings and tied them together with events happening in modern times. This is an attempt to help people understand that the technology and political scene is at the exact stage that the Bible predicts. 100 years ago it was inconceivable that some of the events prophecied in the Bible could come true, because the technology and world leadership had not advanced enough. Now, everything is in place. Stop focusing on the fact that there was a series depicting what the Bible teaches and start focusing on the fact that the BIBLE TEACHES IT. Grow up and then we will talk about matters of the Spirit.

I'm sorry but, unfortunately, the Bible specifically says they are symbolic. However, the 1,000 is never said to be symbolic. I fail to see that Satan is bound in chains as we speak, so the Millennium has not started, as well as Jesus ruling in Jerusalem. But, from my experience, those who preach false doctrines, will never change, even when shown the errors in their theories. Our generations is falling further and further into apostasy, just as Jesus said would happen toward the end of the Church Age. I am so sorry that you can not embrace the 'Blessed Hope' that is the Rapture.
Kind of Harsh isn't it? Since when is belief in a rapture or not salvic? What amazes me is people who are so stubborn that they condemn people to hell because they do not believe the same way on things like this.

PS.. If we are born again, it does not matter if their is a rapture or not. If there is, we will all be "caught up" at the same time, if there is not we will still enter eternity at the same time.

Lol, actually, I believed in the Rapture BEFORE I ever read any of those books. However, I understand why the younger generations do not believe in a Rapture. Unfortunately, I am afraid you will learn the hard way.
Yeah? How is that? If there is a rapture. they will be coming with you. Its kind of hard for those of us who want to learn to talk to those who disagree with us when people like you condemn them to hell.. Why dont you lighten up! this is not a salvic issue

All I know is that as a child of God, I am not appointed to wrath. I just assumed that since God is angered at the wickedness of the wicked that He is not angered with those righteous in Christ. Can you imagine receiving the same punishment as a criminal just because you were an innocent (justified) by-stander? :)

Unfortunately Rev tells us the beast is granted permission by God to go after the seed and overcome her.

If there is no rapture. we should be prepaired. would you not think?

God is saying we will not receive His Wrath because WE WILL NOT BE HERE, that's obvious. The persecution will be more widespread. Think about a world wide purging of all of God's people. Not to mention all of the judgements that will be called down on the wicked. And, before you ask, I am referring to the converts to Christianity after the Rapture, because there will be converts, Revelations is quite clear about that.
Sorry but you would be in error. God said we are not subject to wrath but salvation. He is speaking of eternal wrath vs eternal salvation. Not the time of Jacobs trouble.. You should not take scripture out of context here.

You do? you know more than Jesus? For he said that day will come as a thief in the night..Not even he knows the hour. So how can you know these things are near??

They have been saying this for hundreds of years now.. Here is the antichrist, there he is.. Even today they are doing it. Obama is the newest theory.. do you believe this?

No, I don't believe that Obama is the Antichrist. Jesus said that we could know the 'season' of His coming. We are in that season. Jesus said that 'no man can know the day or the hour'. However, He said that the generation that saw Israel return as a nation will 'by no means pass away' before His coming. That has finally happened after almost 1,900 years of being scattered to the nations. No the Rapture is not a salvation issue and I am not 'condemning anyone to hell' for not believing. However, most of the people who do not believe in the Rapture are those who do so because they do not want to live a godly life. The imminent return of Christ has always motivated the Church to be missionary minded and evangelistic. So, when people argue with Scripture and persecute those who believe these things, it is an outward sign that they are not ready for the Lord's return.
