Don't you hate it when ___________

Tell us about those things that happen/ed to you that you hate/d. :D Hopefully this thread will be more funny than sad.
 
Ok I guess I'll start.

Don't you hate it when..

you arrive early to the movie theater and you find a really good seat and then just before the movie starts someone really tall with a big head sits in front of you? :p

you get ready for a job interview early but then you can't find your keys?

you're craving your favorite cereal so you pour yourself a big bowl and as you're pouring the milk you realize its gone sour? :(

you tell yourself you're only going to spend 20 minutes on CC and then you look at the clock and realize its been two hours? :)
 
Don't you hate it when you're already running late to work and the traffic lights all decide that they want to turn red and all the drivers in front of you apparently think the speed limit is 10 under what's posted. I'm not bitter about my morning at all. :rolleyes:

When you try to avoid stepping in the puddles but then you somehow get water in your shoe and you have to have soggy socks for a while (I hate soggy socks).

Don't you hate it when...

You've read the chapter, but you still can't find the answer you need to do your homework?

You have to sit in a pharmacy for an hour and a half?

Your feet are cold without socks, but then having socks on makes you too warm?

Skype installs "new" and "better" software, but still runs like crud?

When you have to wake up for an 8:30 am class that's insanely boring and pointless?
 
Don't you hate it when...
-People don't use their turning signals to let you know they are going to turn so you have to slam on breaks grr
-People don't understand your unique weirdness (We all have our own little weird things we do)
-You think you could really be friends with someone until you find out that they are a racist, atheist and they are trying to convert people (cricket, cricket and slowly exit the room lol)
-People chew with their mouths open. dude i know that you know that your doing that... just saying.
-Cheery morning people when you are a grouch in the mornings (I personally have been told I resemble a bear)
-When the day starts out cold so you dress for cold weather and it ends up being hot and vice versa
-It only rains the one weekend out of the month you had plans for.
-You think someone is waving at you so you wave back and they are waving at the person Behind you smf
-Your dancing and singing in the car at a light, you look over and a car full of people are looking back watching.

I've got so much material on this subject I could do this all day :D

Why you don't like pharmacies? Pharmacies are awesome.

dont you hate it when canadians post really attractive photos as their avatar... :P

or when your boss calls on your one day off and then gives you an attitude for not wanting to spend it going to work..

or when no restaurant in the area processes credit card tips in a timely fashion so mid week youre in an awkward lull of waiting for tips to post on your transaction to see just how nice you were to the cute redhead at chili's before you can go out for another meal
 
Don't you hate it when....

-You want to express your thoughts on something but don't have the right words to say?
-Despite not having the right words to say, you express yourself anyway and everybody takes it the wrong way?
 
Don't you hate it when you're getting sick and your mom isn't around to take care of you??

Wow!! Does that have anything to do with the socialized healthcare system there? I mean is this what we have to look forward to here in the US? I'm almost afraid to know the answer.

1. Someone shares their prayer request and then somebody questions their salvation and judges them?

2. You tell a child that it's time to go to bed and they're like "Do I have to? But I'm not tired. How come you get to stay up late and I don't? Blah blah blah"?

3. A dog licks another dog's behind and then comes to lick you face? Ew ew ew!

4. People tailgate you?

5. The weatherman lies?

6. People write like this: "ello hw r u duin 2dai...R u comin 2moro?" <= Sorry but this is rubbish. Are you that lazy (or too "cool") to spell correctly? Sheesh! :rolleyes:

7. Some adults write so illegibly that you have to spend minutes trying to guess each word in their sentence? Even some kindergartners have better handwriting than some of them. Yup.

8. You should be studying for an exam that's coming up soon but yet again Mr. Procrastination and his twin, Mr. Laziness, are knocking on your door? (Shoo shoo, go away. I don't entertain unwanted visitors).

9. People cuss like a drunken sailor? Not cool.

10. People ;):eek: overuse :cool: :) smileys on :o instant messages?:(:confused::mad::p:rolleyes: O_o ^_^

Hey I do this all the time intentionally and don't care who watches! It sure entertains my children and make them laugh.

Yes, pharmacies are awesome. In fact, I had a second interview at one yesterday. However, waiting for an hour and a half to have your number called is INSANE. But I have public health care, so what do I expect?

Well this is the first time that I ever had to wait this long to get into a neurologist. For regular doctor appointments, they can usually see you in a day or two depending on how busy they are. Waiting lists for specialists can be long, but it doesn't cost me anything to see him or get tests done, like it would in the U.S. Nor does it cost me anything to buy my meds.

I used to work for a retail one- Safeway pharmacy (you guys have Safeways right?). Being a tech is fun but dealing with the customers not so much. Hope you get it!!

You'd probably hate instant messaging with me. :o I find being expressive online occasionally calls for overcompensation by smiley bombing to kill the coldness of long stretches of text.
That, and cause It's fun and I'm just obnoxious like that sometimes. ;)
 
Don't you hate it when you go to post on a quirky complaint thread.....then suddenly you realize none of your complaints are funny.

Then you begin to question on whether you need to (A.) learn to laugh at yourself more, or (B.) learn to be annoyed with things that are more funny. :p
