I‘m a writer. I do years of research on subjects I write…even for fiction. One story I have been working on for the past several years, is the death of Jesus…who killed him” Some put it on the Jews, others the Romans.

John 11

Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 48If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. 49And one of them, namedCaiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 50Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 51And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 52And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. 53Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
This came to mind.

Good try, but no.
I believe it does answer the question.

Which of us can remove ourselves from needing a Saviour?

Since we all have sinned and need redeeming.. we should count ourselves guilty of His death.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, the Jews wanted to kill Jesus for he and his disciples working on the Sabbath such as healing people and walking through a field or wheat and picking the wheat so they could eat. For some reason the Jews didn't have the power to kill Him so they asked the Romans to crucify Him. So the Jews condemned Him and the Romans killed Him. All I know, for sure, is in the end. Man killed Jesus

Good try, but no.
Job security fleshly fear Jesus was not by trying but had taken away the people that were going to the religous leaders for answers and they had kicked him out in unbelief, Job security is what got Jesus taken to the cross by the religous leaders of that day. And it was the Spirit of error that planted the thoughts and so they acted upon them as truth to them. But to the devils surprise this is what was to be for life everlasting and the Devil is now been judged and the keys taken from him.

No one killed Jesus.

No one could have.

He gave His life for His own.

John 10
11 I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
12
“He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
13
“He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.
14
“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,
15
even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.
16
“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.
17
“For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.
18
“No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

AHHHH. Thank you. A Christian who reads the Bible. Do you know the scripture to back up your correct answer? (18)

Lets take a second step to the op. What was the reason Jesus had to die to save the human family from Adams sin?

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

1 John 3:16
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Romans 5
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7
For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
11
And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

:)

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—
13
for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
15
But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
16
The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.
17
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

18
So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.
19
For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
20
The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
21
so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gen. 3:15 is the Bible's first recorded 'prophesy' of what Christ would accomplish for all who believe.

Just my opinion, but I think Romans 5 answers your original question pretty well. :)

John 10:15,17-18
Just as my father knows me and I know the father, so I sacrifice my life for the sheep, the father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again, NO ONE CAN TAKE MY LIFE FROM ME, I sacrifice it VOLUNTARILY. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to, and also to take it up again. For this is what my father commanded

No one killed Jesus, He laid down His life for our sake. To say the Jews or Romans killed Him is completely irresponsible and against God's word and the work of the cross
