Ugg boots?

Ugg boots are an Australian invention? I never thought it would get cold enough in Australia to need them...

That aside, I despise Ugg boots.

I'm with you on that. I dunno where you live, but a lot of girls around here wear their Uggs with shorts or mini skirts. It's kinda...gross.
 
Ugg boots began as inside footwear for country folk (particularly farmers) in the colder parts of Australia. They're just a warm version of slippers.
 
*sigh... i thought this was a thread about me. First Arwen says she'll make a thread about me (nothing so far) now this. What a disappointing week. Think i'll go drowned myself in chocolate til i feel better. Now, all i need is some chocolate.. hmm..
 
I hate seeing women wear these outside during the winter. Our winters are vicious and these precious little booties get destroyed by getting soaked, freezing and of course salt damage! They live up to their name...

They weren't designed to be warm outside, let alone worn with mini-shorts and mini-skirts. It's not a good look but you can't blame Aussie's for the fashion disaster.

you gotta remember, the good ole USA is the same country that has a population rate of Morbid Obesity that is nearly identical to the rate of the population obsessed with Skinny Jeans & Jeggins.

I know if mine eye offend me, i am to gouge it out... what if the jeggins offend me, how do I gouge out the wearer?

Uggs are horrible, and imagine how stinky they would be after a while! AND they're like 400 bucks. That's just stupid.
 
400 bucks? They cost around $50 here for a good basic pair. And no, they're not horrible, you just don't understand Aussie ingenuity. :P
