I guess I've thought this way my whole life .. Until I met Jesus and he told me differently about myself .. He is worth believing and I am worth knowing it in His eyes ..
he doesn't just say it.. There is no hidden agenda or motive behind it.. That's what makes it so valuable ..

Looking through the past couple of pages of this thread. Rather upset that I was not here in someone's time of need. But also confident that God sends those to us that He knows will provide in those times of need.
Remembering what I said, "God shall protect you."
Knowing I did not waver and that I would be seeing my precious friend again. Thankful to God for the security and peace that He gives His people. Thankful for those that were provided in this time of need but still thinking that it would have been nice to have been there. Not just here, but actually there enduring the storm.
Thank you Lord for keeping your sheep.

I hate it when something seems like something other than something that it is. Someone triggered something in some of my thoughts and now somehow I was inspired to write some things about it. Somewhere someone is trying to sum up what I am saying. At the same time, someone else is laughing because of some of the things that have been said.

I am coward you know. I really am. So afraid to put myself out there, pushing people away, because I believe its only a matter of time until they leave me. After all, look at the evidence of my past. It's only logical- yes logical- that it would happen again. I took someone off facebook a few months ago because I don't want to know about his life. Know how I am not missed. It's only logical that I didn't mean anything to him.
Someone joked with me today that I have a phobia of people leaving, she was a co-worker of the that guy, and I am not sure if he was talking to her about me. Or maybe I am paranoid. But he did see right through me that night. He saw that I think too much, that I've been hurt. But I saw it as a motive just so he could sleep with me. Always suspicious of motives. Everyone is up to no good.
I am a coward really, too afraid to feel. Stuck in my safe little world. Analyzing everything. Even more proof that I need to get on a plane. Even more proof that I need to step into the unknown. Feeling a bit like Will Hunting right now.

Knowing that words are of the spirit (Luke 6:45), there is a great deal that can be learned about a person just from hearing their words.
From a man who loves God, let it be an encouragement to you to know that if I was sitting in a room full of people, you would be one of the few I would be drawn to talk to. I don't say this as lip service or flattery. But let it come as an encouragement to you to be patient. Remember that a virtuous woman is rare? The same goes for man. Be patient knowing who you are in Christ and the treasure that is hidden in your heart; that only a righteous man would be able to find it.
Do not judge yourself according to how things may appear, but with righteous judgment (John 7:24).
You are a great treasure that is very hard to find. Stand firm in who you are in Christ.

As much as I like to act like I really hate people and I think they're dumb. The fact is I really love people. They frustrate me and make me want to strangle them sometimes, but seriously, I love nothing more than to hear about the personal lives of others. No matter how harsh or dark their past or present may be, I can some how still manage to see the beauty of God's creation in all of it. The only thing that sucks is that their are so many open and bleeding wounds and I can only do so much. I can only speak so many words, and give so much advice, and just hope that that would be enough to start a healing process for them.
Rachel, you're a beautiful person inside and out, I think you do much more for people here than you think you do.
Arwen, you're exactly what a good friend should be, and (as with rachel) you are also beautiful inside and out.

and Rachel...my goodness...there are not enough words to express your beauty that God has bestowed on you. I will tell you right now young lady,if you ever..EVER settle for less than God has for you I will hunt you down. LOL j/k I don't think you realize the blessing & hope you give to people my age,as I see sooooooo many younger people even as believers just lack any passion for seeking the heart of God,and you...you totally break that mold. You,my dear are truly anointed for greatness in your lifetime...TRU DAT!
