What I mean by knowing the seasons is that 1000 years ago it was technologically IMPOSSIBLE to do this! Nor did man have the knowledge to.
God gave man 6 days (6000 years) to work. The 7th we are commanded to ready, given it's sign VISIBLY to all by the increase in the land. Tvs cars, houses, computers, whatever you want under the sun is now in abundance.
Now if you read the bible believing that most will not be saved, and I read the same believing that all will be saved, how can we begin to understand eachother?
I plan on showing the faith in me. The increase is here! We have but to bodly go claim it!

Again no man knows the time or day, but we can tell the seasons. Jesus came and left assuring us all that He conquered death. We are simply to abide in our calling. But we tell seasons by observance of the things we see. Today in our lifetime, we live in a period in which we have the technology and knowledge to house clothe feed the world! I see so in a nut shell we are to become this great society helping one another and feeding each other blah blah. Every body is going to make it. Is that the jest of what you are saying and what you have put together from your studies? If this is the case why would the Lord have to give HIS life for my sin? I mean what difference would any of that make. Why should I help anybody why not just take what ever I want. We all end up ok according to your ideas. Why should I stay faithful to my wife or her me. The saying goes eat drink and be merry right. I think I will stick to what Paul and every person He wrote His letters to new for a fact. The seasons are the 7 feasts of YHWH Lev. 23 by the way I dont live in darkness so that day will not take me as a thief in the night. It's used as a guideline to know seasons as God is from everlasting to everlasting.
Again we won't get anywhere with bible verses that at the end of the day comes down to how you and I see them. But we both can see that america has more empty houses than those who can AFFORD to buy them.

The verse is saying that a day in the presence of God seems like a thousand years and a thousand years with Him seems like a day. God is outside the constraints of time that he placed on the universe he created. He isn't limited by it. But you can't use a verse that compares something to another thing and say that it means creation happens using this formula: 1 day = 1,000 years.
