This and some other pictures here are depression inducing. Some site members struggle with depression and are suicidal. I respect your intent but really don't think posting this in life bits is a good idea.

Better to talk about it and give the Biblical perspective in all situations. What answers does the Bible hold to give those affected in this picture hope.

I understand exactly where youre coming from, i just believe it is wrong to have it in life bits because people come here for encouragement. This is overwhelming to the soul even with Biblical mindset.

Life bits. Life isn't always sunshine but we all go through periods of darkness. These moments of darkness are often times the moments we need encouragement the most. The overwhelming feeling within the soul is often the Holy Spirit trying to grab your attention.
If a picture didn't fit their criteria then they would of blocked it but I appreciate and understand your input. I just dont agree. The picture is real and that is life for someone. The mother decided to share the picture a few days ago. In my opinion we shouldn't shelter it but embrace, pray for them, and let it move our hurts towards compassion for these little kids who are dealing with such things.

I really hope what I want to say comes out right...
God is GOOD!!! The Scripture says the rain falls on the just and the unjust... we live in a fallen world, the result of sin, in the world, is death. Yet Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.... Death seems wrong because it is! It is a result of the fall... But in spite of that, I know if these children move home, home/heaven is where they will go and nothing is more wonderful than that.... We wander around like aliens here on earth because we are aliens our home is heaven! All of earth groans and cries out....
I would much rather see a child die because I know they will move home... If it is an adult I can only hope they were saved or it is much worse...
I am a pro-life (you have no idea), but what I am saying, even though we sorry for the loss of any life, there is a rejoicing too if it a child because they are HOME!!!!

I understand. Paul essentially says the same thing that he wishes he could be at home with the Lord but it wasn't his time.
Life is God's to choice to do as he pleases. God can step in and heal that poor child or not. Either action God is just. After all our children are only gifted to us but ultimately still belong to God.
There is truth theologically in this picture but emotionally knowing any of that wouldn't make it any less devastating.
Only the comfort of God, the Spirit and love from others could do any kind of good to help the family of this young boy.

Oh Yes! Death is always against the grain, sort of speak, especially as a Christian, yet even though we know from Scripture Messiah took away the sting of death. One of my sisters has a child, who now lives in heaven for the last 7 years, he was 8 when he moved home in 2011. He was severely disabled. His head never spread (the 4 bone plates), so as he physically grew his brain never did. He was always like a newborn, on a feeding tube, never crawled, walked, or talked. He had here, in the natural, a newborn head (and mind) with a body that grew. My sister is a Dr. so she bought a hyperbaric chamber for him and daily medical care kept him alive here as long as it did.
When Thoms moved home it took Mary a long time to get back to life; her husband is a man of God, refused to divorce her, and she has 6 other children (Thomas is the youngest).
But she has recovered and that is because only in Jesus death has lost its sting. If you notice I speak in first person because Thomas is still alive, he just moved.... to heaven.... That is not something nice people just say, we we die in Him we do not die in our sins and we are alive in Messiah with Him in heaven!!!!!
