Well spoken . . Giving attention to others is objective . when a Shepherd leaves 99 to get 1 sheep from the wolf it would seem wicked to leave the 99 unattended to .. But in the kingdom its up to the Shepherd to discern what's urgent . don't be quick to call foul till you have clear understanding on what the facts are . reach out to the pastor privately explain your plea ,and if that's fruitless? The believer has one high priest in Jesus . he alone makes intercession so reach out to him,he's not one not moved by your infirmities . In this life man will always be man imperfect but in Christ adequate .
That's good . in this days of a pandemic believe this my friend pastors and those in leadership roles in the church are swapped with messages and calls ,be patient . God will not leave you forsaken .

I promise you this: If a True Child of God asked their Lord Jesus to offer a simple prayer for them, I know, with full certainty, that He would not turn and walk away to go and help someone else.
This is why I do not place hope in the "church." I depend on my Lord and Savior . . . and not a single human.
May the Lord grant you the most incredible of all Blessings. I sincerely mean that.
Jesus said:
John 17:11 NLT - "Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are."

The promise given to the believer is within the church in Jesus . so being with the mindset that you will directly only deal with Jesus outside his body ,I doubt would be following what Jesus instructed . yes there may conflicts within the body but remember you are dealing with men who are in process also . be Christlike to be the peacemaker . thank you for you kind words towards me ,I don't take them lightly I assure you . God bless you too

My friend, you've missed the point. Early in our conversations, I mentioned, "test the Spirits."
1 John 4:1 NKJV - "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."
What Paul wrote above is essentially a commandment. Why? Because if we do not test the Spirit within someone who claims to be a brother, we may be led astray. So, when we test the Spirit (or spirit) within a person, and should they fail, they are not of the True Faith (the point that Paul is clearly establishing), but are instead a false believer. When a person is tested (as commanded that we do), and if they possess the Holy Spirit, they [will not] fail when it comes to something as simple as a prayer request. Sir . . . you are making this far too difficult, and that creates room for deep concern.

But the pastor has not failed yet . he has not responded yet . I will share a personal experience with you today .I have a friend ,a pastor in California . recently I went through a series of awful events where I got into debt real quick . I reached out to him because his been so supportive for a long time in prayers and helping me grow myself . I tried to reach out but no reply until recently he contacted me then I realised he had issues with his phone and it was lost . he got the phone and time difference made it impossible to even converse .. I would leave messages for him in messenger Facebook ...venting but no replies even after he text me a week prior that he just replaced his phone .. I was sad that he would ignore me in my desperate time . my friend if I was to go by your standard I would say his not genuinely concerned for the flock of Jesus . . but I prayed to God in my pain and recently I got a message from him apologising he didn't realise he had not installed messenger on the new phone .. He just saw my messages . God has taken things from there my friend .. Now I trust God all will be sorted . because your pastor is not forthcoming this instant doesn't mean he's not genuine . . pastors have challenges also to And pressure their soul's to care for the flock regardless . testing spirit is testing if the individual speaks words outside what's written , a different doctrine.. Don't be quick to scream foul friend . patience will profit you . and if he doesn't reach out ? Thankfully there are many stewards . look for another you sense the holy spirit abiding with . you will not be forsaken
