Know there are always going to be people out there who like to push their opinions on others. When I was in Bible college there was a group of students who.gathered after chapel every day to discuss that days particular speaker and what was incorrect about their message, doctrine, etc. I...

So you believe that man was created a two part being? Only body and soul? When God breathed life into Adam it had to be the spirit of God because God is spirit. I think we are three part beings: spirit which is the eternal part, soul which is our mind, will, and emotions, and then body which...

. Just curious about your statement. So are you stating it was wrong for Jesus to preach on the Sabbath? And when He was rebuked for healing the man’s withered hand on the sabbath and was confronted didn’t He say that He (the son of man) was also Lord over the Sabbath? And are you opposed to...

well said.

I see where your post trib rapture belief comes from.

I will look. Guess I’ll be dragging out my Greek lexicon 😊. Im kind of a mid trib myself, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on anything except, BE READY because we don’t really know the day or hour that He will come.

Well, CNN won’t tell it. I heard it from a pastor who immigrated from Iran in the 70’s. It was on Flashpoint. He said there is a huge underground church there. I do hope it’s true. Those people are being terribly persecuted.

Sorry you feel that way. 😔

I used to be a chaplain so I had to deal with all denominations and their clergy. I heard a catholic priest tell a dying woman that he possessed the power to absolve her of all her sins, then prayed a prayer from a book and told her she was forgiven and ready for heaven. I had to leave the...

Just Curious. What you said is good but how does Matthew chapter 24 fit into this? With all the persecution of Christians happening in Iran, China and N Korea, not to mention Minneapolis it’s spreading west. How do you explain Jesus words in Matthew 24 about false Christs and deception that...

Yikes!!!

“I don't care what the scriptures say. This is what I believe and that's all that matters to me." Are you kidding me? unbelievable. whomever taught them this should be better off to be tied a boulder and thrown in the ocean, to quote the Lord Jesus. Grieves my spirit… thanks for the...

Point taken. Im sorry you were deceived by a “pastor” and that must have been a real faith shaker. By your comments and words used like “churchianity” it’s pretty apparent that his deception hurt you badly, but I’m assuming so please show grace to me if I’m wrong. There are many spiritual...

This is a pretty good teaching and pegs the UPC well. My sister married a UPC guy and stonewalled me every time I tried to talk scripture to her. She wasn’t raised to believe like that. UPC is a very legalistic, religious, judgmental and messed up group of people. To take one verse and...

I believe its Important to be very careful with whom you share any confidence. And I would be very carefulI and not just let anyone speak into my life. And yes, spiritual giants are accountable to one another but they weren’t always giants. Don’t you think they ever submitted themselves to...
