To be saved one must believe the gospel. The passage doesn't say that demons believed the gospel. It says they believe there is one God. Where does it say in the scripture that believing there is one God results in salvation? Do you believe there is a way of salvation for fallen angels?

I had nothing to do with my salvation. I did believe into Him, but I didn't birth my belief...God did. The source of faith is not an individual; it is God. Faith comes BY hearing, and hearing BY the word of God. That word...BY...tells us how it came to be. It doesn't say BY me doing anything.

I believed in Him. I received Him according to John 1:12-13. I didn't do anything to receive Him. It was done by God. Can you show me from scripture where it says we need to accept Christ? I've never seen it.

No. Salvation still needs to be worked out in an individual's life. When I was born I was dead in trespasses and sins as it says in Ephesians 2.

My sins were paid for on the cross. My salvation was determined before the foundation of the world. It became real to me in time and space when God birthed faith in me one day employing the word of God.

There is only 1 in the context of the passage.

Belief or faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The source of faith is the Spirit of God employing the word of God...that is the power of the gospel Paul is not ashamed of.
