The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

You cannot become a Christian and then a year later start following Satan. The guy in 1 Cor. 5 was sleeping with his step mother. Paul told the Corinthians to turn him over to Satan, but he is still saved.

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

For some reason you believe that a person cannot throw the free gift in the bin? Can you give me one example of this actually occurring?

It's also important to encourage all people who claim to belong to God to see if they really are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? to see if...

Our God and Savior, Jesus Christ

Our God and Savior, Jesus Christ See Titus 2.13, cf. 2 Peter 1.1 Two of the shortest books of the New Testament contain similar - and very strong - affirmations of Jesus Christ as God. In his epistle to Titus, the apostle Paul states that Christians "wait for the blessed hope and the...

After you answer my challenge, then I will consider answering your challenge. This is how you put a stop to theological ping pong. So, answer my challenge. That way, I will get an idea just the extent of your biblical knowledge.

You are definitely a neophyte with your clinging to Eph 1.4. I have already written many article on Eph 1.4. You (plural) have been chosen IN HIM, not outside of him, where unbelievers are stationed. This is a common reference to Positional Truth. Christ is the Chosen One, those in Christ share...

    Understanding God’s election

Another speculation not based on a serious study of these words used in OT and NT. There is absolutely no support for your statement about God unilaterally choosing man in the NT. Election does not refer to salvation but to service, in both the NT and OT. Show me one verse in the Bible that...

I already answered this in an earlier post. You are speculation on a definition of chosen, one that i demonstrated earlier

The only problem with this is you have not defined choose? Defining chosen is what the issue is all about. What is your definition of chosen and then I will tell you what is difficult

    Understanding God’s election

Where are we chosen? We are chosen"in him." We are not chosen 'outside of him.' It was the plan that was chosen before the foundation, not the individual. Notice we were chosen so that (purpose clause) we should be holy and without blame... notice the purpose of election deals with...
