    What is repentence?

    What does it mean to repent from sin? To turn away from sin? To make a decision to stop sinning? Is repentance necessary for salvation? Would repentance be a form of works in order to get saved?

    So as Paul, in Romans 7, writes of his Sinful Nature, this was well after that nature was removed, on or at about the time of his Damascus Road experience. So are you saying that Romans 7 was written by Paul to describe his life before salvation?

    How do you reconcile these two passages? One says the old things have passed away, and the other says that sin still lives within.
