Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

Not an attempt at humor. Just a simple question. I will ask the question again. Is Magenta's question on post # 3253 fair and honest? Am I truly a heretic for not answering it as written?

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

As a general rule, I do answer questions directed to me and sometimes even questions directed to others. If I ignored your question, I doubt it was on purpose. Your questions are not that hard. Sometimes I fail to see your prose sandwiched between your large pictures. If you know the post...

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

Hey Cameron. Is Magenta's question on post# 3253 fair and honest? She seems to think that it exposes me as a heretic if I ignore it as written.

You are naive if you think that Cameron does not push TULIP. There is not one tenet of the TULIP that he disagrees with. On your question, I accept all of them as the Word of God, it is your opinion (which is most of it) that I disagree with.

And this is why people do not answer your questions. Try asking open ended questions in place of your childish loaded questions.

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

Is this not obvious? After all the message of the TULIP is being hidden from me.

What are you expecting free willers to do??? Just give them strong drink so they will forget their fate.

Is it also hidden from the chosen who are currently unaware that they are among the chosen?

Context and who is being addressed does not alter the "if" condition. Agreed? In other words, being Jewish does not make the promise unconditional.

Not sure about your comment but here is the verse: Deuteronomy 28:1-14 NIV Blessings for Obedience 28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come...

I will ask again. Where in the verbiage is it labeled as unconditional?

And that's why it is silly, because it is tacit. Unstated but understood. Just as the Kingdom of Judah existing today is silly. The Bible does not need to state that the referenced verses are never ending, it should be clear that the promise was to end.

Where in the verbiage is it labeled as unconditional? The promises given to Judah were conditional, simply read Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

Because you need that verse to be unconditional. Is John 19:30 unconditional? Rarely are words unconditional and when they are it is quite obvious. If verses such as Genesis 12:17, Genesis 15:18, Deuteronomy 1:8 or Amos 9:15 are unconditional then the Bible is a farce! The nation of Judah...

You are quite correct. Words are not as rigid as we would like them to be. They are rarely unconditional. Example: John 19:30 "So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit." If someone would insist that "It is finished" is...
