I'm thirty-seven and not ashamed of my age. I am half Italian and Guatemalan on my father's side. I'm unhappily married, and will more than likely be getting a divorce early next year. It's too long of a story to tell. But in all honesty, I did make every effort to make things work. That is until he decided to hit me. At that point, my choice became clear. I completed my Master's degree in Social Work three years ago. I work as a Special-Case Social Worker Administrator for a large healthcare system of hospitals and clinics. I am very grateful for and blessed to have two children.
