The Oneness Of God In Christ

The scriptures reveal to us who God states as His name. Throughout the scriptures, , (Tetragrammaton) which represents the four Hebrew letters of the Creator’s Name - YHWH (‘yod-hey-waw-hey’) pronounced ‘Yahweh’ is the name of God. His name appears in excess of 6,000 times in scriptures. Most...

"What must I do to be saved?"

Are you implying that you or anyone else can live out their days without ever sinning?

"What must I do to be saved?"

I agree that being saved of your past sins is a one time event. However, the expectation is that your life is now dedicated to God, guided if you allow, by His Spirit. Falling back into one's pre repentant way of life will not provide one salvation in God's Kingdom.

"What must I do to be saved?"

I could use some clarification as to how you set out to live your life after your repentance? Scripture clearly states that if we return to a life of unrepentant sin there is no hope. (Hebrews 6).

"What must I do to be saved?"

I can only trust in what God says. Do all we can to follow Him and trust that when we stumble, He will be there to pick us up.

"What must I do to be saved?"

I submitted this reply on a similar topic but believe it's applicable here as well: The Bible teaches that salvation is not a one time event, but a process. Salvation requires our action (Mk 1:15, 2 Cor 7:10 and many others teach/confirm this) - saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom...

Why is salvation free, when it should be the costliest of all things?

The Bible teaches that salvation is not a one time event, but a process. Salvation requires our action (Mk 1:15, 2 Cor 7:10 and many others teach/confirm this) - saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Repentance is a prerequisite...

    GOD IS LOVE

I think it is important that we keep in mind that love is behavior, a way of life - not an emotion. Thanks for the reminder.

Sometimes A Person Can Misunderstand What The Scriptures Are Saying

I agree that deliberate sin will cause a falling away from God. However, who’s definition of sin? The sins against God’s Biblical commands? The church’s definition? Which church? Different denominations have differing views of sin, just look at the 10 commandments of the Roman Catholic church...

The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon Me

This is true. Across the world, the same Torah (the first 5 books of Moses) portion is read. Each year begins a new cycle.

The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon Me

I agree that Isaiah was given this direction. The Messiah also carried this responsibility as confirmed in Mt 4:43, Mk 1:38.

The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon Me

The Messiah tells us that He was sent to preach “the Gospel of the Kingdom of God” (Luke 4:43). This verse gives additional detail to that mission. In reference to the point about the Holy Spirit coming upon the Messiah after His baptism, I believe we are looking at a prophetic or foreshadowing...

But Whom Say Ye That I am?

The Word of God. The only begotten Son of God. Fully man and fully divine. I think it is crucial that we understand who it is that we identify as “Jesus”. Unfortunately, there are differing views expressed throughout the various faiths and religious denominations throughout the world...

I And My Father Are One

From Scriptures, we are told in Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one”. As we know that scripture collaborates scripture, we see that confirmation in Mark 12:29 “Yahshua/Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one”...

    The Heresy of Annihilationism

From my understanding of scriptures, man can indeed be destroyed. As we are told via the Messiah in Mt 10:28 - “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Scriptures also tell us that “hell” is everlasting...
