I am a previously (I would say) devout Catholic that fell out of faith due to weakness from mental illness. I still greatly believe in God, but the rationalization of society has made me resentful of the church that is primarily controlled by people. I've been lost for over 3 years now.
I joined here as a way of mental support from other Christians. I suppose this is either a silent prayer or a last ditch effort to find some semblance of faith again.
