I'm a Catholic Christian who loves little cockatiels (small Australian parrots), so I chose the screen name 'tielbird' :)
I enjoy all God's creation and am happiest surrounded by natural beauty - mountains, rivers, animals, plants...

My pets, through their ability to reflect the goodness of God and the genius of creation, have been a great source of comfort to me at some of the lowest points in life.

I participate in the Charismatic Renewal of the Catholic Church. Since I am not very far from New York City, I try to attend prayer vigils (holy hours) at some of the beautiful churches in the City.

May Christians around the world come to see past their differences and join together to show the love of the Savior to a lost and dying world, and may the Lord bless each and every one of us and keep us close to His heart and safe forever. Amen.
