I was reading somewhere recently that about 10,000 people turn to Christianity each day. (I think it was... "per day")

I was reading somewhere recently that about 10,000 people turn to Christianity each day, in this country, alone. I think they said the number was 82,000, worldwide.

Sounds pretty high to me, but I dunno. However, there ARE over a million cities in the USA, right?

BTW, that was a tongue-in-cheek bit of humor. I think there are only around 18,000 communities in America.

I was thinking it might be that we would have to take any "count" with a grain of salt.

Or take it as FYI.......there are only so many sources we can turn to for statistics.........

Christianity is the fastest growing religion both in the number of new adherents due to natural growth (births minus deaths) as well as in number of new converts (converts in minus converts out). • The total growth of Christianity (25,210,195) adds the equivalent of more than the population of Australia (21,555,500) or the U.S. State of Texas (23,904,380) of new Christians to Christianity. Every year.

Divide 25,210,195 by 365 and you will have the Annual growth rate for the World.......690,698.3 or thereabouts, anyway, I see this as a positive thing to pray a pray of thanksgiving for......... :)

Fastest Growing Religion; Christianity

[/QUOTE]

The key word here is RELIGION, which does not necessarly mean that MANY are being born again and receiving eternal life.
If you look at many, if not most, who claim Christianity, they teach a false Gosple that leads to eternal Hell, not eternal life with Jesus.
Don't be fooled by RELIGION and false CHRISTIANITY.

How many "Christians" will be in heaven?

Re 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Does anyone really think the Father will not fill every available space in heaven? :) He did not send His Son to save a few, but many! :)

Good question. On the News today, they were talking about how ISIS is using Social Media.......Internet, Twitter 'n' such to recruit people here in the US. Apparently, what they offer these people is a sense of "belonging," "pride," of "fulfillment in doing something for the greater good." A sense of "family."

Thinking about this, I realized that our own Government does none of this.

No wonder ISIS can recruit right here in our own backyard, and we can do very little to change their hearts and minds.
