ah, this way does it.
I'm learning.
Through FB? Click on the picture so it becomes its own page (complete with comment section on the right.)

Once their right click picture and then choose "Copy."

Then come here, open up a "Quick Reply" and right click in the writing box. The choose "Paste."

I think what you did wrong was try to copy the picture straight from your feed page. It doesn't work like that.

I would say, Facebook is not an image host. If you are going to use a url to display an image, it must be properly hosted somewhere that allows you to display the image on other sites. If you can download the image to your device (save it to your computer) then upload it it to a proper host site (there are many to choose from, like tinypic or imagur) then take the direct link they provide you. That sounds like a bit of a run around but I am assuming you cannot post images directly from your device. There are also images online that you can use to post directly here; I do it often from media caches. Look at the url of the image and over time you can figure out which ones have a better chance of working. If you see that funny green box show up in your text box, you know there was a failure. Go Advanced before posting to check all aspects of your post; sometimes an active gif will be "stilled" and then I will remove it and look for something that works :)
