Atheists can be good, as can Hindus, Bhuddists, Jews, and Muslims. I daresay we all know people who are not Christians who are more ethical and morally upright than some Christians.

We are saved by faith, not by works, lest any man should boast. The only thing that separates a believer from a nonbeliever is just that, belief. It is a fallacy for Christians to think that people without Christ are necessarily immoral or amoral.
I don't think the Pope is saying that atheists are amoral etc.
But rather that their worldly lives if they do 'good' works is spiritually equivalent
to Christian life and actions.
I think this and other statements by the Pontiff are the continuing push for one
world faith and one world order.
It's not just the economists who are into globalism.

I know. I agree with the Pope. People who are not Christians can be just as moral or MORE moral than Christians.

The thing that makes us Christian is belief, not actions.

I heard recently that American Jews are more charitable than any other demographic. Surely, we can all agree that charity is moral. I also heard of a group of Jews in New England who raised thousands of dollars for Christmas presents. They did it to remember the American soldiers in WWII who liberated Concentration camps.

Let us substitute the word “good” with the word “moral”. The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags, but it does not mean we don’t have righteousness. If you witness people helping others after natural disasters, or during war time, this is righteous- just not anything to save our souls. I think if we could get it through our heads that people without God can be just as moral or moreso than people who have God, we will better realize that it is faith that saves us, not works of righteousness.

The majority of those meme's are actually just blasphemic to scriptures, twisting them in an ungodly light, away from their true meaning.
