Racism - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Racism: : poor treatment of or violence against people because of their race: the belief that some races of people are better than others

Galatians 1:22 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,
Mark 12:31 The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."
Equally important. As important as this.

Mark 12:30 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.'

Racism is a sin and I have not found a race that doesn't have racists of their own.

Me neither. Here's a good example:

"White man sues after New Mexico police force 14 hour anal cavity search with forced colonoscopy in crazy drug search that turned up nothing because the white man was innocent. They used the fact that he did a rolling stop as the basis for their abuse of him. The man's civil rights attorney says the Hispanic officers may have targeted 'white boy' because they 'don't like him living in their community.'"

The kicker is they billed him for it afterwards.

Acts 10:34 If we have respect for some, more then others, then how can we say we follow Jesus?? It is always a sin not to love each other as Jesus loved you!( john 13:34) ( 1 cor 13:4-8!!) Notice this does not talk about color either. hehe

The Bible is color blinded. God is very tough on Moses' sister for her hateful rhetoric against Moses' black wife. (Number 12:1)

Of course it is!! Who are we to be judgmental or biased towards someone else because of race, color, beliefs, lifestyle, etc etc? Jesus did not commit racism when he hung out with prostitutes. He did'nt say "oh you're a prostitute so you're a whore." Jesus loved ALL types of people no matter what their backgrounds were, and WE are commanded to do the same. So the next time any of you want to judge somebody for whatever reason, THAT is racism.. Racism is NOT always about color: black and white, yellow, brown or red.

Why would you even need to ask? Hidden agenda? Like if we as Christians don't support the flood of illegal immigrants to our Country..........we are racists? Just wondering, because of late, that is the charge being leveled against Christians by the liberals....

I posted on Feb 2nd 2014. This thread has been resurrected. Consider my post as a general question.

I actually have limited to say on the USA. In fact I suspect you guys are being more compassionate than Australia. It looks like our current Prime Minister is being referred to the international courts of Justice for crimes against humanity. The paperwork has only just been lodged.

But racism is more about the every day stuff.

Racism is something people created. We are all one race, the human race.

Our human bodies are the same yes but there is a huge difference between someone who is made pure by the blood of Jesus and has their minds set on pleasing Him than for example someone who is a homosexual who's minds are on sinful lust and are at enmity with God. We are all born sinners but when a person becomes saved they do not have the same mindset and desires as someone in the world. God's salvation is for all but not all people are the same. Some are righteous and pure, some are filthy and wicked. That being said the love of God should be given to all people but a Christian should be an example to live pure so that the nonbeliever will be convicted and turn to Christ for forgiveness.

Nonsense.

I know many Christians who struggle with sin. Right here on this forum.
