Over in Bible Discussion Forum there are apparently a number of alledged Troll sightings.
Some cry, ''Troll, Troll alert!'' and some in half belief (or full) continue to try to 'minister' to the poster.
Just what, in your opinion or factual knowledge, constitutes a genuine TROLL?

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtrl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[SUP][1][/SUP] by posting inflammatory,[SUP][2][/SUP] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[SUP][3][/SUP] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[SUP][4][/SUP]

That's from Wikipedia, always a reliable source ;)

Personally, except in flagrant cases, I think one man's troll might be another's troubled soul.

~Stands up~

In my book, a troll is anyone who is intentionally disruptive. But really, can any of us honestly say that we have NEVER needed to be disrupted? ;)

I wonder if there is any kind of troll trap where they get caught in their own devices?

Is there a happy type of troll who tries to illicit a happy response from his cyber sea victims?

I suppose a troll is someone whose sole purpose is to argue.

I think one of the most memorable trolls was the girl who claimed to be Lillith. That was just one interesting thread to read.

I think this thread was only created with the intention of creating division amongst the brotherhood of trolls.

Therefore, this whole thread is TROLLING!
