Hi sth,

I was really asking anyone who wanted to share how they learn anything anywhere, any time. And i didnt think before people be learning how to learn, but thats being done not just by teachers, but also supposed to be by parents who are teaching their children. I was thinking sometimes it appears that some fights and misunderstanding w/ children (even with spouses) come as a result of differences in dealing with many things for being left- or right-brain dominant, but some people not know or dismiss that. Some are analytical, others logical, innovative, practical... The 'heart' learner would learn very differently from the 'head' learner, or teach their child or student differently, unless we adjusted to the learner's learning or preferred style. There are deep, and surface learners... I am talking abt these not because i know how and understand well, but in fact appreciate discussing for better understanding and using the how's why's of teaching and learning with others. There's also the term lifelong learners, which funny enough, i recently saw posted in a bulletin board an ad for them, but wc i thought the meaning was so limited/inadequate.

As i've been learning on redeeming the time, here is one material i found that shared on using our minds to do so.

MINDSET TO RECEIVE THE NEW

God wants things to be so at rest and settled in order to make room for the oil and receive the whole new thing God is doing in your life. He has pruned and cut away so that He has made room to fill you with the new. Whatever you bring to the altar, do not pick it up again.

If you allow the Lord to increase and enable your thinking, little by little you will be in double of where you are today. We can proclaim the acceptable year and come into it. Others are proclaiming fear, judgment, anxiety; we need to begin to hear what Heaven is saying. We are moving in the time where we can only be led by the voice and Spirit of God. Let's step into the NEW thing.
