What about the people with cancer, who wear wigs because their natural hair fell out and they feel uncomfortable being bald? I don't see that as vanity or deception.
A good point I was just meaning in ordinary circumstances as Marsh mellow was portraying.

Where people get this nonsense from is beyond me. I have never worn a wig or hair piece, I am proudly silver. In fact, I always get complements in my hair colour, seeing as you do rarely see real silver/gray, most women dye it away.

But a spiritual matter? Well, if it is about vanity, perhaps. About demons? Just weird! Where do people come up with this?

People should wear their hair the way they want, without fear of self righteous people calling my them names, or being accused of having demons on their heads!

I agree, Angela

At the risk of derailing the thread, I will say that it's one thing to refrain from doing X because you believe it's sinful for you to do that thing. It's quite another to say that said thing is satanically and/or demonically influenced/controlled. Doing that gives those who participate in such activity a serious guilt complex (provided they care, of course). I realize that there are some things which are abominations and the like, and God does not want us engaging in such. However, I feel it's a bad idea to categorically assert that "non-essential" things are inspired by demons.

Yes, Satan is in control of the "world system", but that does not mean that everything we do (or don't do) is influenced by or controlled by him. We still have to live in the world, without being "of the world". Most of us know what is meant by that. And wearing hairpieces is not a sin for everyone.

If it's a problem for you, that's ok. Don't do it; but it's also optional and some might not have a problem with it so as always we need to watch that we don't judge. There's a difference between "problem for me" and absolute truth. Truth must be proven from Scripture, which I haven't seen you do here yet. I have more hair than I know what to do with anyways, so I don't do extensions or anything, but they'd be a cool option if people need them <3.

Feeing like you do it may be best to not wear a wig or extensions or any of that other stuff. Spiritually, there is nothing wrong with wearing a wig if you chose to do so. I'm not sure where you came up with the notion about the hair being named after demons.

You didn't say how you feel. Read the title of your own thread. "The truth about..." proclaiming something as truth that needs to be told to others is not the same as opinion.
"We must be careful 'everyone' to not be deceived". That also is not an opinion statement.
"Its not nonsense it's simply the truth". That does not suggest that you're giving opinions.
If you're not willing to accept opposing views then you won't last long here. This is a place for people to share views and counter-views. You have to expect it.
You said you wanted input, now that.youre getting it, and it's not what you hoped, you no longer want to be involved in your own thread? So you Don't want input, just people to accept your statement you call both "truth" and opinion.

Folks if you read the OPs introduction, you will see she has come through a
lot of stuff. So for her it’s probably better not to wear wigs etc at the present, if
she feels this way. Maybe later once she is further along her Christian walk
she may change her mind.

Marsh if you are having difficulty and are a bit confused about what is ok and
what isn’t, you would benefit from chatting to your pastor or people
at your local church. :)

You will I’ll find a lot will change for you as you get to know God
and grow spiritually.

I don't see anyone stating anything of the sort. The issue people have is to proclaim this as a truth for everyone. If she had presented it as a personal choice she likely would have been received better.
