I got a blood clot in my leg, cost me $2,000 to get it dissolved. After the money was gone I found a cheap and better way to dissolve it with natto. The Japanese have eaten natto for breakfast for centuries, they say it is the reason they have so few strokes. At my age, mini strokes are a major cause of dementia.

I copied this from the net: This is a sticky cheese-like food. " It is produced by fermenting soybeans with the bacteria Bacillus Subtilis — one of the “good” bacteria that keeps the intestinal tract healthy and working properly. It has a nutty, salty flavor similar to Roquefort cheese. For over a thousand years, it has been a popular breakfast food in Japan, where it is eaten with rice.
Now, it has been shown to be a life-saving miracle treatment for cardiovascular disease, and has even been used to ward off heart disease, osteoporosis, cancer, dissolve blood clots, and many other health conditions.

It really looks gross, with its thread like white strings and strong taste, but like learning to like limburger cheese, it tastes fine if you stick with it. I don't have the patience, I take it in pill form called nattokinase.

WARNING: This also acts as a blood thinner, if you are on blood thinners adding this to your diet could be dangerous. Some doctors would adjust your medication to accommodate this, but you must see your doctor.

Doctors, for those not on blood thinners, usually know nothing about the research done on natto, and as they do with most natural ways of prevention will just say no. There has been research of this by such as Mayo Clinic, but the discovery is new enough that most doctors know nothing about it. Because the Japanese have tested it for centuries and found it healthful, I rather think that the drug industry is not promoting natto. The Japanese have tested it.

Is it easy to get a hold of?

How nice it would be when one encourages , inspires , supports to healthier eating and care as apposed to opposite (which does happen).

My grandfather raised with used to bring a glass of water to his wife as she never drank enough and he knew this "badness " about her and assisted her to drink more.
He also used to bring chockolate for her and buy special ones to suprise her with.
Another fatten up a loved one with dinner when visit and they had communion.
Being an alone eater all time sucks perhaps......
more fun cook for with someone as eat with some one
See one still has manners :)
fancy dinner eat with fork upside down with small bights placed on it.
dont talk a lot or wipe hands on clothes or table cloth and don't eat to fast.
dont chew with mouth open or play to much with food
(only play a little and in a very darling manner)

Thank you Redtent for all this info. I think I will be visiting this forum as I am a health fanatic. I've taken so many herbs since I picked up a book called back to Eden, and never stopped buying herbs, vitamins, herbal teas, since I was 20. I could say I still look the same, but for a few pounds or more, that need to go. But it is wonderful that everyone could share something here, and all glory to the Lord, for his bounty. :)
