Has someone ever given you a compliment that you knew was insincere?

Do some people tend to flatter you excessively in order to get close to you?

Has someone ever threatened you in subtle way in order to get what they wanted from you?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the spirit of Jezebel has probably influenced you.

The spirit of Jezebel wants to control your life and then she wants to destroy it. Jezebel is a warring, contending spirit that uses flattery and manipulation to create soul ties that she then uses to control her victims. Beware!

What did our Saviour say about 'her'?

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Would you like a translation of what HE said about this "Jezebel".

By softening HIS WORDS she helps to make lax toward sin [fornication, just for one] and as far as "eating things offered unto idols" ... Paul mentioned that also, but also said, in some cases, don't worry, just eat ... So, I'm sure that this has a much deeper meaning coming from the mouth of He Who Is "The Word of GOD" / "The Bread of Life" / "The Word of Life".

It's what this type do with HIS WORD that counts to Him - and what this Jezebel does with it to corrupt It and her followers.


Study to show yourselves approved a workman that won't be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth ~ is what He says to our men and to us as well --- ie. Don't take what GOD has provided as our Daily 'Bread' and offer it on the table of perversion to the enemy and eat of it or feed it to others.

The spirit of Jezebel is of no concern to me because I am not influenced on compliments or flattery. The scriptures say this

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

and so therefore we must be prepared to fight against every spirit that the enemy puts in front of us and some are more adapt to this than others and others are attacked more by these spirits than others as well.

The spirit of Jezebel is not a spirit that has any influence on me personally the spirit that haunts me the most is temptation like eating sweets I am not suppose to eat or my caffeine addiction. But i will say this a true warrior of God will be attacked by such things and likely may be put in a situation where they cannot overcome it on their own and will need to fully rely on the power of God to overcome. we are all called to be mighty warriors and for some like me the battle of the spirit may be extended to the point where there seems to be no end like alcoholism, or addictions in general but this season of trial is for the building of our hearts and faith which is why we must endure and fight to the very end.

There are many spirits in this world that the world has no idea of but we Christians recognize.

I try not let the evils of those world influence me but try to only let God influence me but, it is hard sometimes and I fall but He is there to pick me up.

1Co 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

We live in an age, got a problem, it is a spirit. New Age thinking, has dominated peoples approach to the spiritual.
Unfortunately people learn manipulation from an early age and use it against others. What you have to realise is it does not matter because love conquers all. Jesus came so we do not fight, we turn the other cheek, we love and carry on.

The Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ dwells in His children and cannot be influenced or manipulated by evil spirits. I don't like to focus on evil spirits nor do I want to assume people are going to try to take advantage of me. So I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But when the Holy Spirit nudges me about someone or something and urges me to take heed, I do!

Yes, there are a few people on this site who have exhibited some strange behavior toward me, giving off creepy vibes and who I now avoid. But for the most part, there are many beautiful souls on this site who I am privileged to know (at least online). :D

I agree with your post except:

While Jezebel of the books of 1Kings and 2Kings was indisputably female; the Spirit of Jezebel has no gender restrictions!

Both men and women are equally capable of being self-seeking connivers!

Where your spiritual energies go towards, what rules your heart, and your energies. If you spirit is in a certain way, you may be unrepentant, unregenerate - unsaved, or a tare- someone whom we should avoid - people who come to church and have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof
