I have heard so many lies and false doctrine being spread about how ongoing sin will not effect your eternal security in Christ. I am going to prove this idea totally false by the words of Jesus. If you truly believe in Jesus Christ, then you will also believe and continue in His words right? Well here goes….

John 8:31-36 “
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
[SUP]32 [/SUP]And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.[SUP]33 [/SUP]They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

[SUP]34 [/SUP]Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.[SUP]35 [/SUP]And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.[SUP]36 [/SUP]If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

These words of Jesus are so plain and simple a child could understand them, but
sinners will still argue against this very plain and simple truth because they themselves are still committing sins and are servants of sin, and thus they will also try to justify themselves and ongoing sin.

Let’s break this down. Jesus said those who commit
sin are a servant of sin, and a servant abides not in the house forever. That verse right there crushes this false notion that ongoing sin does not compromise eternal security. The truth is right there in front of your face. A SERVANT OF SIN ABIDES NOT IN THE HOUSE FOREVER!

People, believing in the Truth according to the words of God has the power to set you free from the bondage of sin. Jesus Christ is the very Word of God, which is Truth and is that Eternal Life. Believe in what Jesus said above, and not the
lies and false doctrine of carnally minded men. Believe Jesus when He said you can indeed be set free from the bondage of sin and death.

John 8:33-36 (NASB)
[SUP]33 [/SUP] They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free'?"
[SUP]34 [/SUP] Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.
[SUP]35 [/SUP] "The slave does not remain in the house forever; theson does remain forever.
[SUP]36 [/SUP] "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

Galatians 4:6-7 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" [SUP]7 [/SUP] Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

We have a good, loving Father!...and a great salvation in Jesus our Lord!

Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Philippians 1:6 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

This and the parable of the 5 virgins. Notice that many try to enter (we did many things in your name. Lord!), but few are able because of unbelief.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many miracles in your name?’ And then I will say to them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21-23

Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able to, Luke 13:24

And [so] we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. Therefore let us fear, while there remains a promise of entering into his rest, that none of you appear to fall short of [it]. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as those also [did], but the message they heard did not benefit them, [because they] were not united with those who heard [it] in faith. Hebrews 3:19-4:2

That's right, those who have born again of the Holy Spirit are sons, and have been set free from the bondage of sin. But according to Jesus, those who still commit sin are servants of sin, and abide not in the house forever.

Now let me bring back what you said in another post
So we all have wilfully sinned and are going to your hell now?....okie dokie.....
Does that sound like the words of a son who has been set free from sin, or the words of a servant of sin mocking the words of God? Plus we also have the testimony of what happens to those who sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the Truth....

Hebrews 10:26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

It sounds like a man that knows what to "willfully sin " actually means in the context it was given..

It seems that those who think they can't be 'unsaved' because they are 'born again' are succumbing to the same mindset of those who thought they couldn't be lost because they were sons of Abraham.

I believe the big deception is people have been led to believe they were born again of the Holy Spirit when in truth they were not, which explains ongoing sin. The good news is, if in fact they have not been born again then they can still be born again in the future. Unless of course they were, and have already fallen away unto perdition. But like Jesus said, because they say they see, then their sin stills remains. Pride will keep them from being healed.

John 9:41
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, "MY SON, DO NOT REGARD lightly the discipline of the LORD, NOR FAINT when you are reproved by HIM; [SUP]6 [/SUP]FOR THOSE WHOM the LORD loves HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES every son whom HE RECEIVES." [SUP]7 [/SUP]It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? [SUP]8 [/SUP]But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

Hebrews 12:8 (NLT)
[SUP]8 [/SUP]If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.

I think that's true for many probably, but not exclusively. Many IMO are born in the spirit, but continue in sin because they love the world more than GOD. All those who have been baptized into Christ are in Christ and are born "again". What they do after the new birth is their business.

Do you see the similarity of thinking the circumcision of the heart can't be undone, just like the pharisees thought their circumcision couldn't be undone?

Oh absolutely, in scripture you will often see how the natural things were the foreshadowing of spiritual things to come. That's why it's good to look at all the warnings God gave to flesh and blood children of Israel, and also look at all the mistakes flesh and blood Israel made, so we do not repeat them, even in the spiritual sense.

Do you really think Jesus is serious about getting rid of sin in your life?

Matthew 5:29-30 "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.[SUP]30 [/SUP]And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."

Matthew 18:7-9 "Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."

Mark 9:43-48 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
[SUP]44 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
[SUP]45 [/SUP]And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
[SUP]46 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
[SUP]47 [/SUP]And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
[SUP]48 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

I see this constantly. its interesting that if a person holds to Jesus words, the grace revolution absolutely hates the message. really shows the doctrine for what it is.

the Gracers >>"Hes Our Lord, we Love Jesus"..." Jesus " If you Love me you will keep my words"....

the gracers " What the Lord said has nothing to do with it...didnt you read grace revolution? it teaches you to ignore the Lord and be saved".....

Good thing....

a. Every sin I would ever commit was nailed to the cross with JESUS
b. HIS righteousness was APPLIED by BLOOD and FAITH to my eternally born again SPIRIT...born of INCORRUPTABLE seed
c. NOW in CHRIST I have been set FREE from SIN and the bondage of sin.....

another misrepresentation of truth by the master deceivers....so.....DO YOU SIN? WHEN was the last time you sinned? How many ties have you lost your salvation?

There is no hope in your false message...Jesus came to save sinners, not self righteous non sinning hypocrites!

Is it possible for you to make any more false accusations against people that believe in the gospel of the grace of Christ and in all that He has done for us? The statements you make are all pure nonsense and are a fabrication of your own mind.

What some people have told you over and over again is that if they have a different interpretation of some of the words of the Lord than you do - then you label them as not loving God nor obeying His word. Which is complete nonsense.

What people are not in line with you in some areas - is your "application" of some of Jesus' words - not the Lord Himself as you continually mis-represent concerning others.

This malice is seen by resurrecting a year old thread and it will affect your quality of life while on this earth. There is a better life for you Jason and I encourage you to walk in the Lord and to rely fully on His grace alone for life and living. He will be faithful to you.

That is because it is really the Truth they hate, because it testifies that their works are evil. :)

Thats exactly true. the truth they Hate is the truth explained By Jesus the Lord. the truth about actually accepting His word, rather than omit it, and say " its just your false accusation and twisted interpretations" like

" why do you call me Lord, and do not do what i say?....that kinda not really in need of much interpretation . or

"If you Love me, you will obey my commands....." kinda doesnt need any special grace lens...unless you just need to get rid of the silly " Jesus" doctrine......in order to establish a new way of salvation and call it " the gospel of glorious grace" im certainly Glad Gods word doesnt actually require some special lens provided by false doctrine "authors" it would lead to chaos in the church with noi one actually knowing truth..

to bad that God didnt send Just One Man to establish The true Doctrine...WAIT!......thats right " Christianity" is about Christ and His kingdom.....the way truth and Life <<<so no one needs to wonder.

Thats actually kinda profound when you consider the false doctrines of todays world, how they absolutely Hate the doctrine He taught, exactly like the pharisees, teachers of the Law, the priests. even completely false religions hate Jesus and His doctrine. The first christians were persecuted by the Jews and rome for almost 350 years because of the Things Jesus taught. It is the reason He was crucified Because He taught the word of God, that differed from the beliefs of the pharisees and Law keepers.

Its really the same with the gospel of Grace. Joseph prince teaches like theres " a war on Grace" because some christians believe repentance and obedience to God are essential parts of Christianity. the way you put it from the gospel really equates to hating the idea of having to repent as the first step even before baptism. The gospel of grace ( as it is taught today) is really a dangerous thing. it makes a simple message Like " repent and obey the Lord" into somehow works for salvation, and even though they say different it really kinda discourages and makes way less important actually doing the things God has said plainly to do By His Word. making it somehow wrong Like if someone had actually repented in thier crowd then they would be a heritic for speaking about obedience and theyd be "working for salvation"....

when it has been Gods message from the very start, from the first born sinner He warned Him beforehand and said " Just do whats right and you will be accepted..dud went n bludgeoned his little bro to death a verse or 2 later. said through the Law, prophets, Jesus, all the apostles, the revelation.....the " church" isnt just allowed to create doctrine everyone agrees with and call it " just one interpretation" which is what the debate comes down to really. i feel as if God spoke to the world through Jesus in a perfect way and really have no desire to not know His ways, His ways are salvation im glad to have met some other folks that believe the truth that doesnt change.

anyways isit sorry to ramble. I have enjoyed your posts learned quite a bit from some of the really informative ones God bless you man ! you remind me of a man who shows Himself approved and have good stuff to say.

Bruce ive never accused you or any person on this site of anything, this is Just your tactic man you folks with this " grace is everything" ridiculous idea. is absolutely a destructive HERECY. That is my point to say its just another "interpretation" as ive said many times, its that doctrine of omission. argue in a circle things you do. ive never accused you or any of your buddies of a single thing. i will forevr disagree with the gog doctrine tho, nothing personal to you bruce, its Just a really bad doctrine, especially for people who never Hear the real gospel.
( meaning what is written in the 4 accounts of the gospel)

When you all are so convicted that " grace" is all and you have no role in salvation, it causes you to actually distain the doctrine of Your Lord, who teaches His disciples to go into the world and serve His will, you hate the things I say, because you find those things in JESUS words. Jesus already said tis beforehand Bruce " if they accept my words they will accept yours" " People will dislike you, exclude you because of the gospel" in fact what you hate and omit so much is my whole belief bruce. That What Jesus said about everything is the Kingdom of God. you say again and again i got it wrong but then i show you scripture very clear you tell me " that doesnt apply because of Grace" ill give the usual example bruce

" If you do not forgive when others sin against you, then your Father wont forgive you" <<<you have denied this over and over. " I just dont understand" " i need the grace lens" " it all was omitted when Jesus died" " forget the commission to teach the commandments of the Lord" " Only hear paul, but....nothing paul says of instructon of command, repentance, righteousness or judgement..... simply....a few verses of grace" " thats really what will save, not repentance"...[pshhh....no one really repents" " your just a sinless perfectionist"

im tired of the arguments man. as ive said many times your judgements mean nothing to me nor should mine to you.you have grace, and will never be judged... i have a judge and Know His name, I understand Who is above me and who to follow after, who to Hear and Believe and obey, ill stick with Jesus.

sometimes i say stuff like this for humor >>>>you guys are all free to follow buddha even,( Just so you know if you do follow buddha he teaches a way of Life and you apply it because you believe it.) >>>same with most faiths.....
even Christianity Jesus believe it or not taught a way for His followers to believe and actually Live, and also actually apply to thier lives and teach others that same way of life the way of Jesus. I trust Jesus and His judgements he is always right....

i tried making it a year but not quite lol all the grace is all there is stuff kinda defeats the purpose of a bible discussion forum, other than our doctrine differences bruce you seem like a good guy, I appreciated all the discussion buddy and you never did offend me in any way but i did have you on especially the first few months i was here, hope the fishin is good....
