Lol your post with the quotes " I had a word from God" was entertaining....I laughed when I read it. :) I think most on CC are very good people with different ideas/views and it's not my job to change them or for them to change me.....we should listen to different viewpoints respectfully and use the Bible as the ultimate filter of whether we accept something personally or not.

Most of the trolls here get banned immediately for saying God spoke to them and that they denounce others......and then skewer Bible verses to fit their "im right you're wrong" attitude.....it serves as divisiveness and does not add knowledge to the discussion.

I try to respond with emotion neutral posts and not rag on other posters....if I have come across as that (im right you're wrong type dude) please understand that was not my intention! We can all have our own viewpoint on certain doctrines as long as we still hold that the only way to God the Father and Heaven is through Jesus the Son and his gift of salvation.

Sirk, I enjoy reading some things you post, although I may disagree with some minor things, I still respect your views and incites into current events! (Bro fist pump in Christ!)
Yes, Sirk certainly does do some serious inciting.

My word! That's astonishing. Your diploma is already on the way to you in the mail.
Willie-T knows my dad. They had beer and pretzels together after church on Sundays. Always played this Civil War board game and even though dad had more troops and a superior economic infrastructure, Willie would routinely beat him by attacking his Grant or Sherman-led Union army with little known Confederate Generals, commanding troops in rags (the troops in question were just little grey figures, but dad said he pictured them in rags and run-down shoes).

He never expressed his frustration to Willie. Instead, he would grab great, great granddaddy's Springfield off the mantle and play a fun game with me called "dodge the bayonet" while mumbling things about "flanking maneuvers" and "flag signals."

The memories...

This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes:

Thought in the mind hath made us. What we areBy thought we wrought and built. If a man's mindHath evil thoughts, pain comes on him as comesThe wheel the ox behind . . . If one endure
In purity of thought, joy follows him

As his own shadow - sure.
Who said that?

I think most people on CC's News forum strike me as flag worshipping, freedom loving (not too much freedom now), slightly racist, Fox News anchors. I just see Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter on the other side of the screen most of the time lol.

I see Blue as a hippie who doesn't really have too strong of an opinion on any particular issue. This makes her fun to talk to. I see Sirk as a young Bill, Kayla as an Ann, Crossnote as Bill. Willie feels pretty liberal. At least liberal enough to understand that gun control and marijuana legalization are pretty much the same argument. Utah strikes me as a country-boy conservative who knows how to step back from the matrix just enough to know that something is off.

Haha these are just the pictures in my head though. I'm sure everyone is really an individual. It's hard to know who someone is when all you have to go by are their political views. I think stereotypes really come into play on forums.

me...Bill O'Reilly? That guy doesn't know up from down when it comes to Scripture. Sorry, no Fox fan here.
