See? This shows you are simply incapable of understanding works to be saved in any other way than works justifying you and earning salvation for you. You not correctly that I'm preaching works, but you did not even bother to note that I'm preaching works the way the Apostles are preaching works.
No, your not teqching works like the apostles did, you do not understand them, thats why you keep contradicting yourself,

You're getting desperate.
Your getting defensive, which usually is caused from being backed to a wall where you have nothing to defend yourself. So you attack another with strawmen arguments

then say it with your keyboard........works save. That's what they said, now you say it.
I would be lying, because no works will cause god to forgive ne sin and save me from eternity in hell,

They may save my life on earth, and save me from heartache, but non of that matters if end up in hell.

You have your priorities mixed up, or you have your interpretations of what saved really means mixed up (try g to interpret tham all as one) ie, mixing justification with sanctification as all legalists do.

This is gonna hurt, EG, but here goes:

40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”-Acts 2:40

Now, are you going to argue with Peter that he is preaching a works gospel in which we justify and earn our salvation by what we do, or are you going to open your understanding up a bit and let your doctrinal box include what he actually means?

Hmm.. if that's true, then where did Paul say, "repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand?" John the Baptist said it in Matthew 3:2 and Jesus said it in Matthew 4:17, yet in Galatians 1:11-12, we read that the gospel which was preached by Paul is not according to man and neither did he receive it from man, nor what he taught, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. We also read in Ephesians 3:1-9, that the dispensation of the grace of God was given to Paul and by revelation Jesus made know to Paul the mystery of Christ, which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets -- that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel which Paul became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God.. *Now show me where John the Baptist and the 12 disciples were preaching this mystery BEFORE the cross.

That was not part of the gospel which the twelve, John the Baptist, and Jesus were preaching before the cross. Yet, they were still preaching the gospel of the kingdom to Israel.

So you are teaching that Gentiles are preached "another" Gospel, and Paul ignored what Jesus taught him to preach.

Jesus Christ sent the twelve to preach only to Israel. Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ The disciples were specifically told to go only to the people of Israel, and they were not preaching anything about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ or that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

  • The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all

  • “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

Same Gospel for both Jews and Gentiles

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— 37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Acts 10:34-46

again

‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, 14 who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved.’ 15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. 16 Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17 If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”

18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.” Acts 11:13-18

It is only right and propper that you quote everything Jesus said on the subject. In the verse you quote Jesus said "those who believe in him will never die" (paraphrasing). My question to you is, "What happens to those who cease to believe?" The answer is below.

Jesus said to him: No man putting his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. (Luk 9:62)
that is not the verse i was quoting lol

but
to answer your question

1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

hebrews 10
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Oh yeah that hurt, that hurt alot,

Lol

News flash

Saving myself from this generation is not the same as being saved from hell (justified)

It takes work as i already said to save ourselves from ourselves and the world around us, but that is not the same as being saved from hell, i can not save myself from hell, God must save me, and this is not done by my works of righteousness but by Gods mercy.

You keep preaching works will save you from hell, you will find out one day the truth, that we are saved by grace, by mercy, through faith, not of ourselves, period

Learn the difference before its too late,

We obey the gospel command by choosing to BELIEVE the gospel. Romans 10:16 - But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" Those who BELIEVE the gospel have already repented in the process of changing their mind and choosing to BELIEVE the gospel. For those who BELIEVE unto righteousness, the word of faith is in their mouth and in their heart TOGETHER (Romans 10:8).

Your gospel has those who BELIEVE unto righteousness/Believe the gospel still lost in their sins UNTIL they round up some people and verbally confess that Jesus is Lord to them (which is not what Paul is teaching in (Romans 10:8-10) and your gospel leaves those who are unable to speak (moot) lost in their sins for failing to confess with their mouth.

Sorry, the scripture says,

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

  • with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

I’m sorry that you ignore the context of Romans 10:9-10, fail to properly interpret what Paul is saying and leave those who are unable to speak (moot) lost in their sins, acording to your gospel.

Being born again is the way to enter the kingdom of God.

  • This has nothing to do with Baptism.

Baptism in water comes after a person is born again.

Baptism with the Holy Spirit is still another Baptism.

There are three in all.

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
John 3:5

We are born again through the message of the Gospel ......
J....,

You seem to be in disagreement with scripture you have quoted...and at the same time leaving out more pertinent scripture.
Please tell me all the steps I must take to be......."born again".....?

Those are your words, not mine.

You err, not knowing the scriptures.

“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ Luke 16:24

Did the rich man speak these words, without a physical body?

Believe the Gospel and confess Jesus as Lord.

It may sound something like this:

  • Lord Jesus forgive me, I am a sinner
  • Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

So if people do this they are saved forever, kept by the power of god with no chance of losing salvation? He who begun that work will continue etc etc?
