Still no answers..

I have asked for prayer here for this situation that I find myself in that I might have an answer to it but to no avail yet. I am going to try to call these people again today who will decide such a large part of my life for the coming years and I pray so much that i recieve the “yes” that I need to move forward in my life. Please, I need prayer that this conversation finally happens today and goes well that I might recieve the positive answer that I need so desperately.

Why is your confidence and validation placed on how a phone call goes instead of Jesus?

This phone call determines the next half a decade for me. Without getting into detail, I’m an artist and this phone call is a judgment of my art and I’ve never had any kind of validation or security in myself and what I do. Art is created to be shared and it’s real world application is for an audience. So yes, there is validation in my life’s work to be found in others. I want to create to honor God in my work and have it be shared with as many people as possible, and this call, in short, determines whether or not that happens.

Still I have not been able to have this discussion and it hurts more and more every day that I don’t have an answer. I really don’t ask for anything in life and I work very hard. I just want for once something to pay off and that the work I do is somehow validated.

I always seek Jesus' validation first and foremost in all daily matters -
when we are confident in our relationship with Him, then all
others situations eventually fall into place...

Trust in and use the Faith that you have been given with all of your heart,
and then He will add to it, then new and wonderful things will begin to happen...
