Many Christians use the special creation of Adam from dust as something different
from the creation of animals created by God's word/command, only.

But Scripture says that both men and animals are from the dust.
Yes both men and animals are from the dust of the earth, and will return.
Both have flesh and blood, and both is same that "the life is in the blood".

Man and animal are both breathing animals, both are [a living soul].
The word “soul” is translated from Hebrew, the word nephesh.
The Hebrew nephesh merely means a breathing animal.

Animals are called nephesh in: Genesis 1:20, “moving creature” (nephesh);
Genesis 1:21, “great whales, and every living creature” (Hebrew, nephesh);
Genesis 1:24, “living creature” (Hebrew, nephesh).

The translators in translating into the English language used the English word “creature
but in Genesis 2:7 they translated the same nephesh into the English word “soul”.

man became a “living soul”, The soul is physical, composed of matter, and can die.
The word nephesh literally means “life of animals,” referring to physical life and
not spirit - we see Satan’s lie to mother Eve that man is immortal and cannot die.

So, was the creation of man really a special creation, if it was, in what way?
God is a creator, he creates and so does man, who are creators and inventions.
The incredible human potential, the creation of man—created in God’s own image and
likeness—form and shape—but like animals composed of physical matter from the earth.

But Man is to be born ultimately into the very family of God, was designed to have godly-
type mind—ability to think, to reason, to make choices and decisions, capable of forming
ethical, moral and spiritual attitudes. (1 John 3:9)

We can come to comprehend and distinguish the true values from the false, the right way
from the wrong, to choose the right and reject the wrong, and, with power of will, to do the
right and resist the evil.

There's no real difference in shape and construction between animal brain and human brain.
Animals are equipped with brain and instinct. But they do not have power to understand
and choose moral and spiritual values or to develop perfect spiritual character. Animals
have brain, but no intellect—instinct, but no ability to develop holy and godly character.

And that pictures the transcendental difference between animal brain and human mind.
The human mind is a wonder in itself, created by our creator.

-But what causes that vast difference? The bible mentions [the spirit in man],
this is not Gods holy spirit but it's mans, every man has this in them.

"The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the
heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him."

- science calls it you're conscience, they can't see, or feel, or touch it, calling it human nature.

"But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."

- this it what imparts thought, it separates mans brain and thoughts from animals instincts,
but science cant understand it, and they refuse to let the bible revel this to them.

Some scientists in the field of brain research conclude that, of necessity, there has to be
some nonphysical component in human brain that does not exist in animal brain. But most
scientists will not admit the possibility of the existence of the nonphysical.

"The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly."

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God”

Man can learn from his senses the things of man, observing his environment. But knowledge
of the spiritual, can only be if imparted with [the Spirit of God], can he know the things of God.

The Bible reveals that man was created perfect, without an evil nature. But that perfect
creation was also incomplete spiritually. Man was incomplete because he needed God’s Spirit.

The creation of man was dual in that Man’s incomplete creation could have been completed
through the tree of life, which God freely offered to Adam, knowledge from the holy spirit, but
was rejected and he choice to learn on his own, now swayed by the devil, effecting everyone.

-so when is the "spirit of man" imparted to us [mankind] ?

Ecclesiastes 11:5: “As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of
a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything” (rsv).

-God says we don’t know how, but we know when a child receives the human spirit:
when it’s in the womb, not when we take our first breath on our own. this is why
abortion is plain murder, also see (Exodus 21:22-23)

Clearly, God considers the life of an unborn child equal to that of an adult.

-What is The breath of life?

Man and animals both have or need to breath air, to add oxygen to the blood.
Genesis 2:7 the "breath of life" here is God starting the breathing process to Adam.
Not that he put anything special in man at that time, all animals breath [air] to live.

And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life.
All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.

-
Angeles nor animals where ever given the chance to become born sons of God, this now
we are [begotten] by our Father, but future we will be born into his family, also spirit beings.

"Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

"and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer
with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

"For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels."

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.]

What does it mean to inherit all things?

I said in my heart, concerning the speech of the sons of man, God will judge them, and that to shew that they are beasts.
19 Also to them is the event of the sons of man, and the event of the brute; one event befalls them: as is the death of the one, so also the death of the other;
and there is one breath/spirit to all: and what has the man more than the brute? nothing; for all is vanity.
20 All [go] to one place; all were formed of the dust, and all will return to dust.
21 And who has seen the spirit of the sons of man, whether it goes upward? and the spirit of the beast, whether it goes downward to the earth?

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21, LXX - Brenton

Many Christians use the special creation of Adam from dust as something different from the creation of animals created by God's word/command, only.

But Scripture says that both men and animals are from the dust.

So, was the creation of man really a special creation, if it was, in what way? And what does man has what animals do not have?
Ecc 12:8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

This is only speaking according to lives of people and beasts on earth that the prosperity for both ends on this earth when they die, and the people not with God have no greater benefit than an animal according to this earth.

Which Solomon said all is vanity done on this earth, for what profit is there of all the labor done under the sun according to this earth, for what benefit befalls people if they do not have God than an animal.

Which Solomon dedicated himself to enjoying sin, and found out it is all vanity.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Then Solomon said the conclusion to the matter is that the only benefit for people according to this earth is to follow God, and His ways, and that is what makes people special above the animals, for an animal cannot have a relationship with God like people, and also people are made a living soul.

People are a special creation above animals, not according to the flesh, for both are from the dust, but they are a living soul, but people would have to be a special creation above the animals even according to the flesh, for Adam and Eve were made in the image of God, the image of Christ when God appeared in the future, an innocent nature in flesh, where the image of God is not an animal body.

Men and animals both have bodies of flesh. God did not breathe into the animals a living soul. Animals have life but not a soul.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.
(Genesis 2:19)

"
living creature" -- in Hebrew here the word 'creature' is put for in English is 'nephesh'
this word is used in various forms over 700 times in the old testament. it means "
soul"
it's only because it's not referring to mankind here that translators put '
creature' instead of 'soul' -- an interpretive choice. it's the same word used in Genesis 2:7, 'the man became a living soul'

just because it's not written that God breathed life into other '
beings' doesn't mean He didn't. perhaps if He gave scriptures to armadillos in their book it says He breathed into the first armadillo as well :)

but that aside, here is another difference in man and other living beings: man named them.

I would like to know the difference, then we can be humanized, then we can focus on that "humanized part" because it's uniquely human
