My son asked me tonight where and what is "old faithful"?

I answered him off the top of my head not looking it it.... I partly want to see if I'm right and I thought it might be fun.... I know there is a Bible trivia but lets do just trivia....

I told him it is in Yellowstone park and it is a geyser that erupts every hour. And Yellowstone covers 3 or 4 states can not remember the states....

Yep you got it right. I saw it myself when I was a teen. :) It's pretty unspectacular because it was just a hole in the ground with a big security rope fence around it... But the walk through the hot springs was spectacular. All these cool colors in shallow pools bubbling away. It was other-worldly.

Ok my question:
When is the official start of summer?

Let’s be on the honor system and not use the internet.

The official start of summer is the summer solstice, the shortest day of the year- either June 20th, 21st, or 22nd. During the summer solstice, people go to StoneHenge to see the sun set between two upright stones.

The Summer Solstice is also called Endymion- a gorgeous poem written by Sir Edmund Spenser.

Where is the tallest building in the world?

Here is a picture of the hot springs and the walkway through it at Yellowstone (near Old Faithful geyser). I don't know if it's still open. Hard to believe there is no railing since falling in means almost sure death (due to the sulphuric acid content of the water).

What is the one physical characteristic babies are born without? But is something that adults have?

Great picture.
Yellow Stone is the site of the largest subteranian volcano on the continent.
I think that's the hot spring that a tourist there was cooked in. I think it was a dare that made him walk off the path. And shortly thereafter the spring erupted and cooked him to the bone.

Yea that's the one. There's other parts of the same walkway where the water's deeper. That's probably where he fell in.

None. The moon does not rise or set. It is our planets satellite.
It rises in the north or south... sets in the north or south...

My son and I did google this a few weeks ago when we were talking about the moon...

I think pizza was really invented in Italy? But not with pepperoni it was like mozzarella and basil.

I could be way off, of course. I think pasta was invented in China.

Where is the hottest place on Earth?
