Matthew 15:22-28 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

This is a classic testimony. You read this countless times and still shout Praise the Lord
Not only did the Lord scorn this woman but also call her daughter a dog.The woman's response was touche.
My question is, how was this deemed as “Great Faith”?
I would love to have this type of faith operating in my life

Revelation says that outside of heaven will be the dogs. By saying "dogs" Jesus meant "ungodly people". You see, until Jesus died on the cross to purchase His church with His blood, Gentiles did not receive His blessings. Until He died He was only here for the Jews. It is like if you and your children were shopping for clothes, and a stranger came up to you and asked you to buy them clothes too. Wouldn't your first reaction be "My children receive this benefit from me, not strangers who cross our path." But if she mentioned that strangers do receive it in another way- by way of donation. Then you may do so along those lines, if you have enough to.

Even in the face of total rejection the women's belief that the Lord would help her daughter never failed. By saying what she did about the crumbs of bread she demonstrated the breadth and depth of her faith.
Lu 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

I would offer ...Great faith is in respect to the faith of Christ that worked in her heart showing she understood Him not seen .While little faith shows a person does not understand the exclusive faith that comes from hearing God but in exchange reason after that seen the philosophies of men, walking by sight.(little faith)

Whenever the apostles would not understand the spiritual meaning hid in parable. The first thing they would do is play the game …"Who is the greatest" even with the Son of man Jesus standing right in front of them

And they reasoned "among" B, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?Mathew 16:7-9

No faith represent the unbeliever who trust in the imagination of his own heart .

Deuteronomy 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

All husbands would love it in their own wives but must first produce in ther own selves (.the hard work) God's love working in us as the first works is, Love is patent if not it cannot be then it cannot be kind the, second work (etc) .

Husbands represent Christ not seen. Wife's submit to their husband love as if they were Christ. Washing her with the doctrines of God trying to work that out in there lives first

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25 -27

Its a living goal that we all fall short of.
