12 boys and their coach got stuck deep in a cave, they went exploring but then
flash floods hit and blocked their path.

Divers have reached them and found them alive and they are having to take in food,
supplies hopefully medical staff via diving to reach them.

According to the news they could be stuck in the cave for months until the floods
and rain stop. Either that or they will have to be taught how to dive go swim out
but the dive itself is very tricky even for experienced divers.

More heavy rain is expected the pumps to pump out the water aren’t
really helping.

The youngest is recorded as being 11.

Lord help these children to reach safety.

The kids have been found but have not escaped the cave.

God is merciful even to the ungodly. I suppose they will attribute this mercy to one of their gods.

May Gods mercy extend through the rescue and all the souls be restored alive to the surface from the dark depths of this cave.

After seeing a diagram of the cave, I couldn't believe the soccer coach was dumb enough to lead them in there. The long tunnel they're in goes up and down like a roller coaster track and the low parts are completely flooded so the only way to get through them is to scuba dive and they said in the news that none of boys know how to swim.

I was thinking that as well, it’s not just like “let’s have a quick stroll
in these caves”.

They could build a water tight container like a coffin sized metal box and have it supplied with air and handles to put the kids in one by one so that the professional divers could take the boys one by one out of the caves..

It would take a bit of engineering work designing and building the container but it is not beyond the ability of modern engineering..

As I understand it the caves are a tourist attraction during the dry season but this time of year the Monsoons start. I dont believe
they went in there when it was flooded. It sounds like they got trapped. Anyway I expect we will here more details later. I just pray they all get out safely

That's rather presumptuous.. What makes you think that they're ungodly and will attribute God's mercy to one of "their gods"??

Not at all. The news shows them having constructed altars and they are praying to their gods right on the site. They bring offerings and burn incense to these gods. Thailand has a polytheistic religion.

We have a new missionary going onto the field in Thailand he is a native to Thailand and was saved under American missionaries.

Now that they are safely out of the cave we must pray that they will come to know Christ as their Savior. What a shame to be rescued from that dark cave and die without Christ only to spend eternity in the outer darkness of condemnation.

Way too late for mercy toward the diver who perished. If he was no saved when he went into the cave his death was far more tragic than any news organization will ever report.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
