The passages ARE in English. I don't see what you're getting at.
'Being gathered' means assembly of people but the verses quoted and only in the context of death seem to mean being received to God after death. Naturally, it doesn't make sense to say Jacob died and was gathered to his people and Abraham died and was gathered to his people. Moses and Aaron died and each was also gathered to their people- i thought Aoron's people are Moses's people are one and the same but i now realize that being gathered may mean something different.

I would think they are one and the same not pertaining to the flesh, but the unseen Spirt of God .

In Hebrews the do not forsake the gathering together would be according to the flesh . Jewish families because of the time of refomation had come were being divided and the gospel could not do the work intended. A majority of the outward Jew even today remain separate from a inward Jew, born of the Spirit of Christ

I also think it has to do with spiritual things, not the normal gathering or visible assembling of people

You have brought various meanings of "gathered" under one umbrella. But there are three distinct gatherings shown here.
1. All these refer to the gathering of the OT saints to Abraham's bosom in Sheol/Hades, prior to the resurrection of Christ. While their bodies were buried, their souls and spirits went to Sheol.
2. This speaks of the gathering of all Jews to Israel AFTER the second coming of Christ. Only one-third of the total will enter into Christ's Millenial Kingdom
3. This is a reference to the gathering of the believing remnant of Israel -- called the elect -- who have been preserved by God through the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation.

I was also looking at 3 different meanings initially but of late i'm inclined towards all three meaning the same thing spiritually because even Israel has a spiritual meaning rather that tribal Jews.

Aaron and Moses, it seems shared the same people and it doesn't make sense that God said Aaron would be gathered to his own people and Moses to his own people. To me, it's just a phrase that means something and is applicable when a saint passes away.

Even Abraham died and was gathered to his people so the point about Abraham's bossom wouldn't make much difference. Maybe it just means people gathering to accord a decent burial but Moses was not buried by his people.

Gathering in English can mean many specific things.
Creatures can gather together i.e. congregate.
One can gather up fruit for example, like picking berries, or gather up pieces of anything strewn about.
One can 'gather up one's skirts' too, as in bunching up the folds of cloth and holding them together.

In general it means acting on things separated in order to bring them together, eliminating or reducing distance between individual parts. It also has figurative use, for example 'to gather ones thoughts'

Precisely, but that's not what the scripture meant when God told Moses "...you'll die and be gathered to your people just like Aaron died and was gathered to his people..." So what people is God talking about on the other side of life?
I was thinking that it is just an expression of death of a saint being received by God in the after life.

Gathered together means to come together in permanence as a family....or tribe...community.

But why is Aaron to be gathered to his people and Moses to his own people?

Jer 32:37 I will surely gather My people from all the lands to which I have banished them in My furious anger and great wrath, and I will return them to this place and make them dwell in safety. 38They will be My people, and I will be their God.

Why do you think this is not referring to the future Salvation found in Christ Jesus?

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

IF Salvation is not of mens works but the gift of God why wouldn't that be seen as God gathering His People from all the lands to which He had banished them???

I think everyone is trying to make more out of a simple statement. I think it is just an expression people use.

It's about permanence. I don't think we have understood the idea of gathering in Christ...not even close.

It would mean taking the prophecy of Jeremiah out of context and applying it to the Church, whose eternal home is the New Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 32:36-43 is clearly about Jerusalem, Judea, and the future redemption and restoration of Israel on earth:
36 And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

This part should be the biggest clue;

Jeremiah 32:38-41
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If the prophecy of Jeremiah 32 didn't come to pass before John 14 then there is no reason to believe that prophecy wasn't the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unless you are so sure of your understanding that you would say the Lord Jesus mis-spoke here.
