Why did He remind you of THAT story?
Excellent - I'm familiar with Proverbs 13:10 (excellent verse); but remind me of the axehead falling in the water...what would God have you gain from these things? Perhaps we may even need to wait on all that down the road ... as well. Sometimes He reveals the truth then, and sometimes He plants seed to show you experientially later the truth in it.
2 Kings 6: 1-6. I was reminded of this verse and when I read it, I saw it in a different way. The way they retrieved the axe head...Wood drew it up.

You know Kodiak was talking the floating axehead. I was remembering something the Lord pointed out to me about this. We can classify that as a miracle carried out by God's servant that wasn't necessary. Helpful, yes, but not necessary. Just like when Jesus turned the water into wine at a marriage. Since the axehead was borrowed the sons of the prophets were liable for it. Why not perform a little miracle in the name of expediency. Can we conclude that it is okay with God to do such? Thoughts?

very good and you?
Not too bad..gettin a bit tired but i took a short nap after work..
The Lord seemed reluctant to do so, I think he did it to please his mother
Water into wine..Jesus first miracle..also..didnt they drink a lot of wine in that region cause the water wasnt any good...?

His reluctance was so He would not draw undo attention to Himself before starting His ministry.

John 2:4, 5 "Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it."

I like how she handled it. She wasn't going to take no as an answer. She carried on like it was done already.

Yes, alcohol killed the bacteria in the water and mixing it with wine made it safer to drink.
