Casting aspursions on members and calling Scholars names isn't an example of intellectual superiority.
One can make the observation here that you are actually referring to your own posts. Imagining things that you can't prove or support in any way.
You simply call learned men and women names and believe that constitutes intellectual currency that revokes learned peoples acumen.
It does not.
Rather, it is evidence you are outwitted and know no other avenue in attempting, and failing, to hide that fact.
And God knows you'll not simply refrain from being rude in a thread that addresses a subject you know nothing about.
This is a Christian forum. What we glean from your repetitious self- offenses is that you desperately need prayer.
O....,
You have an outstanding question on post 303...are you planning to answer it?

Ancient Jewish History: The Birth and Evolution of Judaism

When one learns where the triune doctrine sprang from they have to choose. Do they believe in God who's own words say he is one and there is no other? When Jesus' own title was that of , God with us, because the holy spirit begat the divine into the womb to deliver the good news, where does a third person come from?
Fair enough, I understand all the arguements and still say as I'm sure you do as well they should not divide. Ok I have a question if you will "Christ in you the hope of glory" if Christ is really in every believer. What pray tell is He doing there, how does He live if that's the case, how does He express Himself ect. ect.!!!
What are your thoughts on this if you have any.

Jesus told us he would send the comforter to lead and guide us through life. Paraphrasing of course.
Christians are sealed with God's holy spirit. It's that wisdom, that inner voice, that guides us through life and leads us down the right path if we pay attention. That "little voice" some call intuition?

No, I saw an outstanding latest example of sarcasm. I choose not to engage that which is largely capable of only that in discussions concerning scripture.

The Holy Spirit is not intuition or a "feeling". Scripture states that men would follow after the gods of their stomachs in the day we're in now.
I'm Judges we find that the people did what was right in their own eyes. They didn't have the instruction handed down for us to live according to. It wasn't through believing that a person understands. It is through doing or applying that a person begins to understand.
The Messiah didn't renew a heart in us in order to just return to our old ways of doing things. He gave us a new heart to obey the things of the Father.
The Holy Spirit is the Word of Elohim given to us through the chief mediator between man and Elohim. He has renewed the instruction known as the Law, commandments, judgments, or instruction meant for our sanctification through walking in it. This is what is Holy. Denying that power of Elohim to make his people Holy is another thing denied today by the "teachers". So no faith is not a magical thing, and neither is Holiness. They are applicable to the personal life of each believer. By the way Calvinism teaches Gnosticism. From the book of Calvin it says scriptures are interpretation and it is not knowable. This is a very philosophical belief not truth as scriptures state.

My remarks have not a thing to do with Calvinism.
Each indwelt Christian is in relationship with the holy spirit that indwells them and guides them into his truth.

Previous post's dealing with Gnostic gospels is what I was referring to. Also just for your information about Calvinist beliefs... "Each indwelt Christian is in relationship with the holy spirit that indwells them and guides them into his truth." is directly from the writing of John Calvin...
It boils down to a know nothing or, "Gnostic" belief. Scripture states, "Your word is truth" and Calvinism teaches personal revelation. That's personal revelation not Revelation of truth. No wonder there is no Peace with the truth, only never ending debates about what it could be...

Oh, should come the day when contempt for gnostic belief and John Calvin abates. So that the words of God are not corrupted by such as those who take God's word in vain and know nothing of its truth.
What God's word is, is eternal and true. What it is not, is allowed to be a vehicle for errant ego's to assail the faithful.

Each indwelt , (by the holy spirit) Christian is in relationship with the holy spirit that indwells them and guides them into his truth.
That is a teaching of Jesus Christ. Verse 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. Book of John 14

The Apostle Paul in his epistle to the churches in Corinth, 1 Corinthians, and chapter 6, told them their body is a temple wherein God's holy spirit dwells.
19Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own; 20for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

That's right. Glorify God in our bodies. We should do this by applying the word not just philosophically implying that it is important.
Many claim to know Messiah however not all who think they know him have the spirit of truth leading them.
Messiah made the statement to them who obey the Father that they are his brother, mother, sister, etc. I thought I was saved by the grace of god through confession of Faith. It wasn't until I looked for myself into scripture that I found the way described for us to walk in.

Teaching our children a lie is not of God the Father or Messiah. Doing what righteousness requires is good work. The same "good work" that is an acceptable sacrifice today,(obedience). It never ceases to amaze me how far from truth mainstream Christianity has gotten. Ask a Pentecostal believer what the day of Pentecost was about. Ask a Holiness faith tabernacle what Holiness is. Even ask a mega church what wealth is according to scripture and I'd bet you they all come up with something different.
The Baptist believes in baptism through immersion however when you try and teach them the full truth and move on to maturity they say you are a legalist. Try and warn a person of judgment that must come and they make you out to be a false prophet. Scripture teaches to obey. Scripture teaches us to walk a CERTIAN way in a Certain Hope of things to come. Yet we teach to wait on God for that increase we sowed into the Kingdom through money. What a lie. Anyway before you start quoting to me how we are the temple. Remember that Messiah also said you are from your father the devil, the father of liars. To those who would put on a fake mask of holiness and deny the Power of the word of Elohim to make One Holy.

No sarcasm here' post 303...

"O...,
Maybe you didn't read the last sentence;

........."Depending on the assignment of duties by G-d......they can be the same."

If you disagree please answer why G-d knows the date of Christs' 2nd advent and Christ does not? (waiting for this one!!) "

Good comment, enjoyed what you had to say. The quote I'm using here of the HolySpirit, I see Christ as being the word according to John. I was just wondering if you were seeing something different?

John wrote an expounded writing of Gen. 1:1. The "word" translated into English as "in the beginning was the word.", is the word in Hebrew Aleph Tauv...
This is a mystical word, and by mystical I mean a word that requires wisdom to interpret. In the teachings of the sages of old the word AX means the word, that word that consists all things in it. It is a word that is the beginning and end of the Alephbet and all things created are in it. It's very fitting that John would reveal the nature of the AX as actually the Messiah.
When we become familiar with this word it's apparent implications referring to the whole instruction of YHWH Elohim the Father in Heaven becomes inferred.
You see if we are to be above reproach and blameless at the soon revelation of the Messiah we must be found walking/living/doing the truth.
Messiah once said, "anyone who has ears to hear let them hear"
This one saying uses a word in Hebrew or most likely Aramaic, Shemah...
This word like many in Hebrew means more than one thing. In context we find a better saying for English. Shemah means to hear, obey, and understand.

Sabin the story of the assembly before the Mt. of Elohim. When they heard the voice of Elohim and said, we hear, will do, and later they understood.

So what Messiah was saying is, all who have ears to hear, let them understand.

I'm not seeing something different really I'm seeing a more complete truth. We are to order our lives by the instruction of Elohim our Father

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying: 'This is the way, walk ye in it, When ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.'

Luke11: 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

John 14:16-17a (NIV) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever– the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.
  • The Greek word for Counselor is parakletos, which can be translated as counselor, strengthener, comforter, helper, adviser, advocate, intercessor, ally or friend. When Jesus says that the world cannot accept the Spirit, He means that the Holy Spirit it only available to believers who love and obey Him. Jesus refers to the Spirit as the Spirit of truth, who is the one who can lead us into all truth and give us the guidance we need in live.

Very nice. Hear from the word of then.
I believe that the scriptures point to the instructions given to us through Messiah the chef mediator between man and Elohim YHWH. We once received through Moses the instruction, judgments, and commandment for our benefit. What it lacked was the ability to cleans the heart of the believer. What Messiah accomplished was finally to do away with the condemnation brought through sin by way of the perfect law. Messiah renewed along with the covenant anyone's heart to hear and obey the Father's instructions if they so hear and understand. The counselor we have access to through Messiah is the instruction renewed through Messiah. The Word of Elohim is not simply the person who is sent by the Father. He is the perfect representation of the instruction and direction we are to go. By his example the Apostles framed their lives after the instructions. By grace through faith the 1st century assembly also modeled their lives after this same word. Today is another story. We have become model Sadusees denying the Power of the Word of Elohim to make One Holy. Remember Holy in our sense is sanctification, and sanctification is a separation of the assembly or believer through obedience to the truth/word of Elohim. Shalom

Once Saved Always Saved is a false doctrine or at least very misunderstood
Do really think what I have come to understand has blown up your OSAS doctrine?
Salvation is by Faith through grace. I wonder if you believe in the sanctification work we are to be partakers and active members of. Are you a doer or just a person who hears the word of Elohim? Show me your faith without works and I'll show you my faith by my works. Is repentance a one time thing? Is Messiah your Sabbath or is Sabbath a day? Does the command that says you should not murder have as much weight in your walk as, "don't gather the eggs with the mother hen present"? How about offering a proper sacrifice and obey the Father's instructions?

I have many more questions than that bit I didn't want to boil a baby goat in its mothers milk...;-)

J...

While we are on earth and before physical death and G-d's judgement of our righteous life ........it is pure poopy cock thinking.

After G-d passes judgement and awards eternal salvation...it is permanent.

That is where so many often get mixed up.

Deu. 22:6
If you come across a bird’s nest with chicks or eggs, either in a tree or on the ground along the road, and the mother is sitting on the chicks or eggs, you must not take the mother along with the young
