Where Do You Want Me to Go?

I've been asking this question a lot lately in where God wants me to go? in one case it work as though, I wasn't sure where to go from my 2 year degree in this case I am going for my 4-year degree. Looking forward to obtaining my SHRM-SCP/CP certification after completely my bachelor's degree. Something came up to me not in a vision but through as many say "a voice in my head." The voice in my head was telling me to prepare for a mission trip. Like to go to church, get involved in a ministry there, get devotionals ready, pray, read the bible... (for some reason the book of Isaiah) is coming to my mind whenever i think about it. Then I hear a voice in my head saying fast for one day just one day, but I have never fasted in my life. What are ways to fast?
Secondly, is there any advice while I am hearing this voice (or am I just a little more crazy than I thought?)

wow you really have a lot going for you huh? it must be hectic lol. But you are not crazy believe it or not sometimes God does speak to us as a voice in our heads though sometimes we do mistake it for our own. For me when it does happen it happens sometimes like a quiet whisper and sometimes is fast like I have really listen to hear it. For instance the other day I was going on my walk talking to him and I was really down on myself feeling beaten and weak and I asked God what a weak person like I was to him and I heard in my head my champion- you know like how certain warriors in the old days were titled champions? And I couldn't help but laugh because that is just like him to say something like that.

For you he very well may be calling you to a destiny completely different than what your heading towards, many times people would go to school and prepare for life and then suddenly God stands them on a mountain of his calling completely different than what they were heading for. It could be he wants you to do all these things or perhaps he is saying to ready yourself and your heart for them which would explain the need for prayer and the bible and even fasting. As far as fasting goes there different kinds personally I cannot speak for any one persons particular fasting as just as everyone's relationship with him is different so is the kind of fasting. Some people fast with food eating nothing but water and juice some fast from their favorites foods or just just eat vegetables and no meat or bread what so ever and then there are those like me who fast by spending personal quality time with him instead of watching t.v. or doing things I would normally do during the day.
