At night I lay awake stirring my sheets, rest is nowhere comfort is a fairy tale and my thoughts are troubled. I await for the words to come to mind to understand and describe my restlessness, for I know not the reason nor do I know how to quell it. But as the night goes on my mind is brought back to a dream from long ago forgotten, a dream in which I was neither nor there, my body was asleep yet where was I? As I suddenly realize I am in a place not of this dimension neither knowing if I was awake or sleep in body or spirit I am in awe of my surroundings. It is a place where it is always night yet the air is so cool and refreshing. The night skies stars are so much more bright and shining the moon glows boasting in her gown of shining radiating a brilliance not seen in the world I am familiar with. There are trees that appear as ice or frozen crystals they take in the light of the moon and stars and reflect in rainbow effects the lunar shine. They seem cold to the touch yet as i touch them my hands feel nothing,. I look more closely to my surroundings viewing the dark green grass and the flickering of each soft blade as the soft wind gently blows, streams of crystal blue water flow here and there giving the area a serene sound as the water trickles it's song as a soft rushing flow.
It is a heavenly place one in which my particular taste finds exotic and wondrous, even after only just entering this place though I know not how or when I have been stilled and at peace inside, I can feel my own eyes softening as I am in a sense of serenity. As I acknowledge this I also sense something else inside me..... I know this place. As if I had been here before in a vague memory from long before I was born, the way it fills me with such peace and serenity, how i feel for the first time as if I belong as if I am finally home. Pondering this I see something ahead of me a lion it appears to be made entirely of light standing there. Without speaking it beckons me with the same familiar pull at the heart that I had known from the heavenly king back home drawing me to follow compelling me to move forwards. Without even trying my legs begin to move without my say so as I walk to this light bearing wonder. His light so beautiful and bright filled with such warmth such comfort, I love to bask in it as I follow him down a path decorated with many beautiful lamps each one filled with a small flame to light the surrounding area. As I follow him in awe and astonishment I cannot take my eyes off of him I don't have any idea where we are going and I don't care.
I don't speak and I don't need too, odd to my thinking for though I know this being I would in any ordinary circumstances beg many questions that my heart has long and desperately needed to know, yet in this time I need no such thing and only follow him. As we go on I feel inside me as if my time here is nearly up, though i have no idea how long i had been there I felt a pang of sadness knowing i would be going back soon. As if hearing my thoughts he turns to me with gentleness and eyes of understanding as if he could feel what I was feeling. Then he nods his head in the northern direction and I see a giant door made of sophisticated design and a seal upon it. The moment I see this door I feel a calling, The calling a hidden secret not to be known fully until the seal itself is broken, it beckons me to it it whispers my name. I begin to walk to it but look back to him for assurance strangely he was no longer a lion but a lamb made of thunder and lightning as if the glory and power of God himself was physically manifest. He nods to me once as if telling me to go on without fear, so I look to the seal on the door, it is wearing down as if time has taken it's toll heavily on it.
As I stand in front of the door I hear or rather feel a voice speak having no words or sound yet more clear than my native tongue, This seal is my seal, the door to unlocking the call I am to choose whether or not to accept it. I recall in this instant my time home constantly moving forwards in my faith feeling my heart being drawn constantly towards something not just a calling on earth but a calling of the kingdom. Why only here is this clear to me? Why is it all so vague and uncertain back home? Before I had time to finish my thoughts the seal begins to break down even more being near to collapsing, and with determined eyes and a fire burning in my heart I reach out to touch the seal. As I do the door burst open suddenly and powerfully a powerful wind of light and heavenly wonder badgering me and enveloping me and Bright flash overtakes me.
It was a dream or a vision of the night and it's meaning has long escaped me, I don't even remember how long ago it was that I received but somehow remembering it has helped me to be still in my sheets calm and at peace feeling my mind slowly fade away into a deep sleep at long last
