Well if a ghost is the soul of a dead person trapped on the earth then according to the bible "it is appointed once for a man to die, then to judgment" does not allow for peoples souls to be left on earth. There is no biblical precedent for ghosts. Typically the view of ghosts by Christian's is that they are demons.
Discernment is a gift. While I haven't frequently seen things there have been a few moments where I was shown something evil. And have heard stories by others where they've seen things.
Also you can consider it being a ploy to attempt to cause confusion (which seems to be working).
I'd suggest one or both of those suggestions.

And that’s the answer I always get. The Bible has several references to ghosts. If I understand what I’ve read most souls go to sleep swaying to be raised by Christ in judgement. However and this is just a thought what if some are not at rest. Jesus said to His disciples on the sea touch me and see that I’m not a ghost not the simple answer of guys there’s no such things as ghosts. And as far as leading me away if that ghost in my house was a demon that she did a horrible job because it led me to believe and give my life for Christ. I just am not sure what God wants me to do with this talent/ability/gift. Btw I took a spiritual gifts test and was surprised that my strongest gift was discernment of spirits. The ability to tell whether it is Godly, worldly, or demonic. It surprised me because I’m an artist and I thought that was what it would be. I’m not trying to argue just understand. I gave my life to Christ in baptism in 1995 so I’m not new but I’ve bever heard an answer that makes me say ok I get it regarding this.

You’ve given me an obvious demon possessed woman. “Even demons believe and shutter” or the instance of the demons and the swine who proclaimed Jesus as the son of the most high. I know this stuff guys. It’s not answering my question. I can discern whether it’s a demon or not. The ghosts I’ve seen or felt have never said anything to sway my mind on my beliefs. I’m just wondering why I see and feel what i do. I don’t expect many to understand. The witch of Endor summoned Samuel from the grave. (A ghost) for instance. I am thankful for your time. May Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives be with you. PS like I said I’m not trying to argue but your comment I beg to differ sure seemed defensive.

I’ve seen angels (two of them) once and mainly ghosts. I felt a demon in a field one time with my friend. Talk about a feeling of pure evil. All the cows in the field even stopped and were staring right at the point I was feeling the bad energy. I just want to understand why I see and feel these things since I was young. What purpose does it serve? Angels and demons I understand but why ghosts? I know they’re ghosts too. In fact one of the reasons I got baptized and became a Christian is because of said ghost. I found out the a lady committed suicide in our house and all my friends and my family saw her. I thankfully don’t live there anymore but the fact that it proved an afterlife was the last push I needed to believe. Before I was kind of agnostic. Hope that clears it up and thank you for your response.
