1 John 2:15-17 15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

John 18:36 36Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 John 5:4 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

How do you live in the Kingdom of God while living in this world?

Great question! I asked this question myself several years ago. The answer I have now is, we follow His Spirit. Do you know you know His voice?

Yes. The way that I hear God is this way: If there is a yes or no answer to something that I need to know, If the answer is from God it is an unquestionable yes or no. No turning to the left or the right, it is done!

Well as God and I developed a deeper and deeper intimacy and closeness I felt more and more like a stranger in this world like I was not just an alien but even to the point where it felt like I was trapped in a false reality. This made really understand being in the world but not of the world. For me even though I am in the world I live in his kingdom by the time I spend with him. I can have the most absolute worst day where everything that could have gone wrong went wrong yet if at the end of the day I can spend just 10 minutes with him just being with him talking with him feel his spirit connect to my mine then that entire day was worth it to me.

For me I treasure the time spent with him more than anything, every moment of serenity in his presence and every deep discussions he and I have are treasures that I lock up and store in my hearts vault, if there is a better way to live in his kingdom in this world it would be beyond me

Hello blain. I believe for you that you are being lead by the Holy Spirit, so he is with you all the time. I know that you are young, but your understanding of God is greater than all of the others I have communicated with on this site. Even though you have not really said so, I believe that you are not under a school master. In other words you do not belong to a local church, you seek God on your own. The things that you suffered brought you to this point. I read your testimony a while ago, but I didn't really know much about you then. Now that I have got to see some of post and get a sense of who you are, I know for sure that you are being lead by the Holy Spirit. You may correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Job 32:8 "But it is the spirit in a person, the breath from Shaddai, that gives him understanding... "

“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you”.
Luke 17:20-21

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Amen, Amen, I tell you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God! 6 Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh. Whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be surprised when I tell you that you must be born from above.[b] 8 The wind blows where it pleases. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

No you are absolutely spot on, as much as I wish otherwise I have never found a church that is home for me I have been to many different churches and God even lead me to speak in front of one at the end of the service but for me I have always kind of been alone with him. For me cc is my church and though I have many teachers that I learn from on him I have never had anyone to actually teach me or guide me as a believer from the very start except him.

The thing about my testimony is that from all that has happened in my life I am on disability and and cannot work but I believe that is exactly what he had planned because I can spend all my free time being with him seeking him out getting to know him and growing closer to him. often times cc is how I do this even just chatting with others other times I go on my walks to take everything in and just talk with him even in the shower I have had tremendous things happen with him from being completely moved and filled with his love to suddenly out of nowhere experiencing a powerful connection to him almost like for a split second his heart and mine are no longer two separate hearts but one.

The intimacy is what binds us and makes us as not just believers but his children so close and so strong in him, above all other things that love and intimacy, that closeness is what we all need to seek. Father treasures an endearing hungry child more than his own throne, he hears our hearts crying out with deep longing that words cannot express and no tongue could hope to speak and even though sometimes it can be so deep that hurts his heart dances over such a child. This is what I want for both him and all others, it's a kind of love and relationship that is to wonderful to not want others to have.

I know that it is hard to believe that suffering is getting us closer to God, but he has to break us away from the love of this world. Don't let anyway tell you that you need to attend a church in order to learn, because it will block his teaching. When I attended church a long time ago, I thought about God on Sunday and maybe sometimes, but when I finally got serious, he is on my mine all of the time all day long. At work, and everywhere. So in whatever I do that helps my decisions.

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is within you when you receive the Spirit, for then you are displaying the kingdom of God's ways upon earth.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

If a person hates sin, and does not want sin, by the Spirit they can abstain from sin, and the Spirit will not lead anybody that does not hate sin, and holds unto sin, which you can tell a saint by how they conduct themselves, and if they hold unto sin they are not led of the Spirit although many that hold unto sin will say they are led of the Spirit.

Jesus said let your light shine before men, and do good works so when the day of visitation comes upon people they will glorify God, and have nothing to say against you, and give offense in nothing that the ministry be not blamed.

The Bible says we are not to love the world, and the things in the world, and if anyone does the love of the Father is not in them, and John said if people have the means to help people with clothing, and food, and they do not do it then the love of God does not dwell in them.

And we see this being neglected by many who claim Christianity as they like to live like the world enjoying what they do, and watching what they watch, and love money and material things for their wants, but then they fall victim to the love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy.

That is still a strange belief that some people have that they cannot abstain from sin, when the Bible says they can by the Spirit, which shows they do not hate sin like they should although they toned it down a little, and they sin daily when by the Spirit they can abstain from sin, and sin does not affect their relationship with God, which He said if they do not continue in the goodness of God they shall be cut off, and the person that does not do righteousness is not of God, and a person that has been cleansed by the blood of Christ when they were initially saved if they go back to the worldly ways it describes it as a pig that has been cleaned going back to wallowing in the mud, and a dog returning to their vomit, which it would have been better for them to not have known the truth than to turn from it.

Which the truth is we have to abstain from sin for it is required of us, for the Lord knows them that are His, having this seal, for this is what seals the saints, and how they are led of the Spirit, that everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Repenting of sin means turning away from sins and not want them, for if you do not turn away from them then how did you repent, for you are only repenting when you do the act but holding unto sin, so how are you sorry for the sin you did if you know you will do it again.

When we sin, and hold unto sin, then we forfeit the repentance that caused us to be saved in the first place until we get rid of the sin and do not want it, and mean it.

If we had to repent of our sins, and turn from sins, to be initially saved, then we must have that attitude throughout our walk with God.

But some people did not even have the proper belief when they first repented of their sins, for they asked for forgiveness for past sins, but held unto sins thinking it did not affect their relationship with God, which they have a form of godliness, bu deny the power thereof, and ever learning but not able to come to the truth, which they do not allow the Spirit to lead them.

Yes you are so right. And you can tell the ones who are walking by the spirit by their fruit.

The kingdom of God is not something you can explain to someone but we all experience it in different ways.

To one person actually living in the moment with their family is it. To another playing music. Then another helping the homeless or children.

Praying is living in the kingdom, but just as much as talking to God and have a relationship with him.

For me, I encounter the kingdom by talking to God, dreams, watching by baby, and hiking. Times when you feel at peace.

The way it works is this: 1. Call on the name of the Lord 2. Nothing 3. Call on the name of the Lord. 4. Nothing 5. Call on the name of the Lord. 6. God remembers you and acts divinely for you. (All of it is the kingdom of God. From the winter to the spring. It is set that way on purpose and it is God whispering to us to call on him in the first place.)

Living in the world we all understand. No explanation needed for that. Lol

Is that due to the intimacy you referred unto?
The intimacy is what binds us and makes us as not just believers but his children so close and so strong in him, above all other things that love and intimacy, that closeness is what we all need to seek

Job 32:8 "But it is the spirit in a person, the breath from Shaddai, that gives him understanding... "
You do understand that it is written that the LORD said the following after Elihu had concluded giving Job his opinion regarding his initimate knowledge of God that the LORD answered Job and said, "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?"

Oh course he is being taught by God. 1 John 2:26-27 26I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit-just as it has taught you, remain in him.
Faith comes from hearing, so of course he heard it, or read it.

Because it all came from Jesus, and he sent out the Apostles to spread the good news. So again faith comes by hearing.

Walking in the kingdom gives us a different perspective on why things are. Not getting tangled up with worldly tradition and superstitions. But knowing the truth can make you the odd man out.
Being led to express those truths makes a difference in how we are received.
The need to pray and fellowship becomes a everyday want rather than a structural practice.
Personally it's given me more confidence in my walk to talk and witness to others as the spirit leads.
Life becomes more simple with the yeah and nays decision trusting and taking God at his word.
Best is finding that peace that passes all understanding when life tries to shake you up.

Definitely not, I am merely allowing you the opportunity to demonstrate how the breath of God imparts understanding with words without knowledge. What does the breath of God give you?

Sorry for the late reply i have bgeen a bit busy today. to answer your first question Yes I said I have many teachers and yet no real teacher except him allow me to explain . As far as have many teacher I was referring to mainly to people on cc. I come to the bdf forum for several reasons- to discuss and debate the bible and the things of God, to have a wholesome experience with other believers, for God if he is willing to use me to help encourage build teach and help others grow in their relationship with him and love but I also come here to learn. I have the heart of a student I am able to glean something valuable even from an attack from another believer many are on here in debates and just discussing without even realize they are unknowingly teaching me.

But as far as in person like someone to teach me and help me in real life I have no one and have no one from the very beginning of my faith six years, not by choice of course honestly I very much wish I did but I figure as long as I have the master teacher I will be fine and I have seen more than enough evidence to verify that and yes intimacy in our relationship with him is a huge part of it, the closer we are to him and the more our hearts are in love with him the more we are receptive to everything he teaches us and speaks to us.

However as for the rock I am referring unto I don't quite understand what your asking
