Hi, friends! Just looking for people to chat with. I'm excited to talk to everyone but I'd especially love it if there were people that were in the so-cal area (san diego!) that could maybe give me some tips on good churches? I've been to several but can't seem to find a good fit for a church home. Tips??
Hiya! I am from San Diego, but live in the UK. Re a church in SD; I went to Horizon Christian Fellowship and was utterly blessed. Its mission statement is 'WIN, DISCIPLE, SEND'. Win a person for Christ, Disciple them in Christ, and Send them for Christ. They encourage members to attend weekly 'Home Fellowship', small groups in your neighbourhood. This is where 'the rubber hits the road', and healthy relationships are formed. They filled the campus of a public middle school for many years in Clairemont. They lost the lease and now meet at the Sheraton in Mission Valley.
